i appolgise to the guy cleaning this window..i think he was just trying to show us the benefits of a wagtail pole.. every window cleaner has got his own methods which has to be respected ! but for this partucular window a pole and a ladder were not required... personally if the windows are high a pole like this very good.. but i find a step ladder for medium sized windows ( 2-3 meters) high a step ladder is quicker ..its all personal choice
I think it would be a lot faster with just a 30 inch, lol, just lightly swipe whichever side you come from with a towel. A lot faster, just make sure your watching for snags in the squegee
This film was taken just after I received the wagtail and as dejay says it's just to show the concept of how it swivels and moves. The top part of the window was done with a wagtail and the bottom normally. (Now I love using the wagtail for everything but at that early stage I loved it on a pole but wasn't used to it as a hand tool. ) The wagtail flipper allows you to avoid swapping tools but doesn't have a lot of srubbing power. It's great for regular work though!
he is not using a wagtail, he is using a regular applicator and squeedgee. a wagtail is an all in one applicator and squeedgee. the point of it is you don't have to swap tools.
I think the whole point was to show the wag tail In action. As long as the job get's done who care's if it's in three passes or fancy or ladder work I just like watching other way's of doing thing's
ok well done with the pole work!!!but be more effient like more soap and water and wet the hole lot and use a land squeegee like 22,24" then pole the top only where you cant reach then well you should no the rest
use a step ladder and get the job properly mate.. i me an english window cleaner in germany .. and the glas is only 15% of the work the really works lies in cleaning the frame..and the window sill etc
whats the window cleaning business like in germany? i had a friend worked there years ago+said their standards were much higher than ours-insides/frames/sills all done as standard usually. whats the pricing like ? just the same as over here-depending on area etc?
Awesome!

Fancy, but a 32" Sorbo blade on horizontal passes gets it done in 3 passes. Much faster. I prefer fast over fancy.
