I don't think we should compare Joan Davis with Lucy--there are few similarities, but Joan went a bit more for satire, which is the harder type of comedy to do. Lucy pretty much stuck with slapstick. They both make me howl, that is for sure.

well its the secondary channel on the digital channel 23 WXXA here in Albany area....so it's not exactly the main channel.....these extra channels seem to be paying off , our channel ten has picked up the retro television network, so you now can see Marcus Welby, Bachelor Father, among others.... bringing the classics back.
