also if you're dry aging at home wrap the meat in some air tight plastic bag so other thing in your fridge doesnt smell wierd. also makes it a bit safer from nasty bacteria etc.
I'm in the process of aging one myself (single ribeye) thanks for the aging time frame. I will definitly keeping it to about 2 or 3 days. hey don't worry Im sure my wife wont try it either.

for single steaks, only dry age for 2-5 days. Single steaks age a lot faster then the whole cuts.
