Something is wrong with the video. It freezes at 4:12. Anyone know why it's happening. I am still learning about Asatru and would really like to see the rest of the video. Thank you.
It sure was nice to hear that knowledge of today is carried on. Thats was a concearn of mine i cant just forget knowledge, thats just pointless. Also nice to hear the openness and common sense way you conduct yourselves and your meetings while keeping a very realistic eye open for whats yet to come.
Any Asatruar: I'd be interested in knowing more. I could look around on the internet for more, but I'm more interested in how you came to realize that Asatru is right for you.
I think it too bad that they dismissed so quickly what the woman said about the importants of people involved in Asatru to live a rural life away from cities. It seems like some want to "cherry-pick" the religious and ritual aspects and leave the more cultural aspect in the backgroud. I see the same thing in Celtic Heathenry.

i'd be interested i knowing why these 'Asatru' tend to ignore the Vanir.

It's called Asatru because Asa means "god" and not due to any specialization of the Aesir vs. the Vanir.
