  • NICE VID!!

How can i swich the camera in iclone 2 or 3?

    5*

  • Thanks

On the timeline use the camera switcher. You can setup your cameras and then you just choose the ones you wish to view.

  • Do jou mate this with Iclone?? so yes Iclone 1 or 2 ???

    Good vid!!

  • Hi, all the animation was done with iClone 2.5.

    Hope that helps you :)

  • I see what you mean, Cape! The visuals are stunning; love the shadows on the graffiti and the spreading blood. How long did it take for you to create this? Your next one will have MORE impact? More is what I want! Looking forward to seeing your next offering. Subscribing NOW! ~JosephKw

  • Thanks Joseph, its humbling to have such nice comments from such a talented writer/director. This piece was my first iClone attempt, trust me in saying 'The Forgotten Children' will blow this out of the water. Well you wanted IMPACT :)

  • Now you got me standing in line with popcorn in hand! When's the release date for "The Forgotten Children"?

  • Well like all good things in life you cannot rush them :) 'The Forgotten Children' is about 15 times bigger then this in many ways, and this film took me 20 hours to make! I do hope to have a preview / teaser out for my new film soon.

  • Very good. Love the sound effects.

  • Thanks for the comment. Sound is more important then you can imagine and quality sound effects help build the full audio mix.

  • VEry intriguing!!! I like the sounds and the pool of blood effects. You should do more scenes like these cuz these are great! The music for the scene too was perfect because it showed emotion and it fit with the whole combat thing. Great direction Buddy!!!Wheres my full movie now????LOL Come on where is it????Come on lol

  • There will be more coming soon, just a little patience my friend :)

My next short will hopefully have an even bigger impact and yes it will be bloody LOL :D

  • Nice, very, very nice...

  • Thanks for watching :)

  • Superbe use of iClone!

  • Glad you liked it :)

  • Thats was great!!!!

  • Thanks for the comment :)

  • Excellent composition. Well done. Looks like a lot of work, but end result is worth it

  • Many thanks glad you like it :)

  • Very nice work!

  • Thanks :)

  • nice Cape!!!! I won't say its perfect but very, very well done. What application do you use or did you make all this on your own...if you did make it all then it is flawless because i know that takes time.

The only reason i say it isnt perfect is it doesnt seem to be a constant fight....the animation end when they should still be swinging...IMO. But still very well done.

  • Hey Rich no problems with your thoughts and opinions. You are right about it not being perfect but hey what is perfect? I use iClone for the animation which like all software has limitations i.e. motion, but for now its better then "The Movies" and so I'm sticking with it :)

    Thanks for watching.

  • No I understand limitations :) There may be away to hide the "imperfections." And of all people you probably already know this with working with The Movies. Just more time in the editing room :)

Nice to see some new stuff from you...look forward to whatever is next.

  • Really well made, a pleasure to watch.

  • Thankyou glad you liked it :)

  • Well done. Reminded me of the Highlander.

  • Thanks for the comment, funny you should say that but my wife said the same thing and trust me it's unintentional :) My project has quite a lot of battles in it and sword fighting is just one, so hey I had to demo it.

  • Awesome work!!! I 2nd Abukhatar's question... How did you do that?

  • Thanks for the comment, so below for how :)

  • that was fabulous!

  • Many thanks for the kind words :)

  • that is fabulous!

  • Now that's office politics. Awesome!!!

  • LOL, you got to be careful these days who you work with ;)

  • very cool- the camera angles (i like the opening scene), action, music all blend together well

how did you do the depth of field?

  • Thanks glad you liked it.

Depth of field is something I have seen done by other animators using other software and I have strived to find out how. Pretty much you do it within Abode After Effects with 3D layers and the camera tool. Quite a lot to explain here, if I have time I'll do a longer explanation on the iClone forum :)
