flew my 250 in the living room after seeing this video..... i don't have a 250 anymore, plus two glasses, no couch, no paint on the walls and i swear i can see the upstairs neighbors watching tv..... stupid carbon blades!! - i'm switching to plastic..
you saw him scrap the blades on the carpet. it is almost impossible todo. i can do it on a simulator but not in real life. i can get with in 3 inches of the ground before my nerve fails me at the last moment. no crashes yet though.
@wogyy I guarantee you would need windshield wipers *inside* the cockpit for a flight like that! Not to mention a fire hose to hose it out afterwards, LOL!
It's funny as an old timer to have actually watched this guy grow up in videos over the years. The first vid I ever viewed with him at the controls of a heli was now around nine years ago.
It's true one does get better with time, as the most of us do at whatever we choose. However, there's no question that this pilot is gifted.
You can actually watch his progression in video over the last ~14+ years here and there on the net.

Nice Flying alan!
It takes literally years of practice and simming to get to that level.
Some can advance fast, others slower.. but if you dedicate time to it you will get there.

I can only hover these things and fly them forward and back. Turning around is hard. How long will it take until I can do this? It seems impossible.
