  • Sea World is so repugnant for keeping these animals at all; let alone in tanks not even 40 feet deep. They punish these social animals by isolation. Tilikum was caught in the wild. Honestly, even if he were to just die, I'm sure he'd rather be free. But he will never be in the ocean or see his family, again. He is a commodity to Sea World, and that is how he will die. SW LIES and says orcas live longer in captivity. Good thing for Tilikum, that's untrue.

  • This was not accidental. This was not "playing." Orcas are extremely intelligent animals. Wild whales quickly learn that humans need to breathe air and cannot be submerged for long periods -- so of course an animal that has worked with people for decades can comprehend that. You all need to know that this was no casual drowning. This woman was almost completely scalped and her arm was ripped off by an animal that has killed, before. He knew exactly what he was doing!

  • He's too big, he's too aggressive, he's too restless. He can't be returned to the wild because he will die due to being in captivity for so long. It's a shame that Dawn died, but we shouldn't be putting these animals away in little ponds and taking them away from their habitat. Maybe this is why the killer whales are dying faster than they can produce ?

  • she talks...LIKE A BOSS!!!

  • he needs a hug he ocean to swim ,basterds

  • let the whale go

  • GO WHALE!

  • That whale is worth millions and they claim he is the "future" for sea world. It's sad really, three people have died by this whale and they want to keep him. It's all about the money. What they should do is release the whale or put him down.

  • @Tdeppe1966 i salute your grasp of the reality of the situation, thank god there are rational people on youtube!

  • this is what you deserve when you think its funny to keep 5 (or more) tons heavy animals (who live in the ocean) in a pool, and let em do stupid tricks... its a killerwhale, he was hungry, so he ate the bitch, get fucking over it! free that whales, and send the owners of seaworld to prison.... ah i forgot, u live in america... where the criminals are heros and the rest is dumb like s... .well, its just scary how far a formerly great nation can fall. greetings from europe.

  • @maltej1982 i assume your from one of the shittier parts of europe and not the successful ones like Germany or th UK

  • @icewatercube I completely agree. Tillikum I believe was caught in the wild, so I assume he has that "instinct". But its a huge market and the companies stand to lose millions if they released the orcas. Yet if they released them, they would not survive since they would not know how to hunt, Seaworld trains them to amuse the public and not how to survive in the wild, Its sad both for the whales and the family of the trainers. These are WHALES were talking about, not dogs.

  • @Jbonetml77 why do you think whales should be afforded more rights than dogs... it's an unusual stance from what seems like an animal rights perspective.

  • free tillikum!

  • I Think It's Not That Killer Whale's Fault, It's In His Nature, and It can't Help It. To Him, It's The Law Of The Jungle.

  • i sue them poor in a heart beat hahaha they would have no choice but to release all thier whales. or else I shall share with the the pain their fellows deal with every day! >:(

  • stupid news bitch! acting like the whales are our slaves. "they were supposed to entertain but they made a crowd witness a death"

  • LET TITIKUM FREE BASTARDSSS DEATH TO SEA WORLD

  • poor tillikum...

  • btw male orcas are usually more aggresive than females

  • @oceanlover22 - Go ahead and punch it. See how much that will achieve.

  • @oceanlover22 what do you think iv been wanting to do this whole time?? haha

  • Are you kidding Me!! A Serial Killer!! This is the most stupidest thing I ever heard in my life. Leave this whale alone. Dawn Loved what she was doing... I know its a shame but everyone is blamming him.It is not his fault. Geeezzzz. The trainers know what they put there life into. So she knew dam well she was putting her life at risk poor whale looks so depressed. And all of your retarded commments suck. yeah so u also blame tilly for killing this idiot for sneaking into seaworld. NOT HIS FAULT!

  • "Tillikum has always known to be aggresive."

IDIOT THAN YOU LET THAT WHALE GO!

  • Nice way to sum up a whole country Bushdoctor, Looks like you're the Idiot!

  • @strangelittlegirl27

How is he if he's right?

  • @takenbytaku - If you want to continue on personal message that is fine. I agree, I think all orca would be better off in seapens but that is not the case. I still stand by my opinion that he acted out in stress, orcas have never attacked a human in the wild, and yet there are so many attacks, injuries and deaths in captivity. It begs the question, why?

  • @FreedomForOrcas and just how many deaths have there been in captivity?

  • @takenbytaku - Fact is, we haven't seen the surveillance footage so it could show anything. And Seaworld has a lot of people in their pockets, I would go so far as to accuse them of bribing people. I really would. They have Republicans coming down trying to INTERFERE with USDA's investigation, which, by the way, found several safety hazards and found Seaworld was guilty of knowingly putting their workers in danger.

I'm sending you a link of the eye witness account after Dawn's death.

  • @FreedomForOrcas what do you mean knowingly putting their workings in danger? no shit if your working with the top predator of the ocean theres danger! so then you could say that a truck driver was being put in danger cuz its possible that they could die in a car accident.. almost everything you do is gooing to be 'dangerous' at some point and some people are willing to risk their lives to do what they love hence Dawn and all the other traiiners

  • @shamuroxy - No you idiot. Obviously there is a significant amount of danger when working with an apex predator (who is on the same level as lions and bears), but there have been incidents where trainers have been unnecessarily put in danger by Seaworld parks. These orcas have continually shown aggression towards their trainers, APHIS advised them to discontinue waterworks and what does Seaworld do? Continue waterworks, ending up in a death. Yeah, real smart that Seaworld is.

  • @FreedomForOrcas yet they never did water work with tilikum and she was not in the water when he attacked her.. water work had nothing to do witht he last incident.. and all the trainers want to get into the water any way it should be their desicion and no one elses its their life not yours.. and how is it any safer working with lions or bears then killer whales? and how have the whales been showing aggression? of all the years they have been doing this there have been very few deaths

  • @shamuroxy - I'm not talking specifically about Tillikum. There have been plenty of attacks on humans from captive killer whales. Google it. Seaworld just doesn't give a damn about their trainers. All they care about is making money. Why do you think they continually impregnate their orca? Because everyone wants to see a baby Shamu. Do you honestly believe that 41 orca in captivity is going to miraculously save the 10,000 plus wild orcas? NO. Open your mind.

  • @FreedomForOrcas which is why soo many people want to be trainers that makes perfect sense.. and again its still their lives it should be their choicee to endanger their lives to live their dream and seaworld only has 21 orcas not 40.. and it will help inspire people to go help conserve their environment.. did you see an orca in the wild before you saw one at seaworld? cuz unless you have your part of the majority of the world that wont get the chance to ever see 1 if it wernt for places like sw

  • @shamuroxy - Seaworld is a manipulative organisation. They withhold information from trainers deliberately. They didn't even tell the trainers that Orky was blind in one eye, which caused him to miscalculate his breach and land on a trainer. Don't you think that kind of information is important?

There are 41 orca in captivity WORLDWIDE (incl. other countries, duh). Seaworld only owns 21 of them.

I have seen both captive and wild cetaceans, and let me tell you, the wild experience was way better.

  • @shamuroxy - CONT'D..

Yeah, and how many people are inspired to help wild orcas? Oh that's right, NONE. They only want to play with the ones in a tank. They don't give a damn about wild orcas. Let me guess, you want to be a trainer too yeah? How much work are you going to do with wild orcas? Absolutely NONE. Many trainers haven't even seen a wild one.

You are selfish. You want those animals to sacrifice their lives and their freedoms just so you can gawk at them in a tank. Pathetic.

  • @FreedomForOrcas actually i want to go to school in alaska so i can do research and conservation stuff with wild orcas before i became a trainer.. so you are wrong unless i die or something i am going to do work with wild orcas . and again have you ever seen an orca in the wild? you said cetaceans which bottlenose and other types of dolphins and whale are amazing too.. but right now we are specifically talking about orcas.. and how do you know whether the whales in captivity r happy or not?

  • @shamuroxy - No. I have never seen a wild orca. But what does it matter? Orcas are born to be wild. Millions of years of evolution designed them to live in the ocean. And suddenly sticking them in a tank? Do you think that's right? Do you think it's okay to steal a creature from its home, its TRUE family, and forcing it to live a life it didn't choose? If you TRULY cared about these animals, you would understand their need to live in the wild, with a pod hunting for food, and traveling. Selfish.

  • @FreedomForOrcas ha! see? seeing them in captivity did inspire u and make u want to protect them.. so it may not be right to take them from their families but wats done is doen u cant go back and change it and now alot of the whales have been born in captivity and have no knowelege of the wild so how can they miss it? also they r in the care of people that r passionate about them and want to make the best life possible for them in captivity.. if they wer unhappy therwouldv been alot more attacks

  • @shamuroxy - Um..... WHAT? No. Seeing animals in the WILD inspired me to help others in captivity, which LED me to orcas. Not seeing them in captivity. Not at all.

So? What about humans living in poverty? They don't know any different life, does that make it okay? Of course not.

Orcas are adaptable. They can learn basic instincts. Those that can't be released should be retired into a seapen so they can feel the ocean again. Seaworld however will perform them until they die.

  • @shamuroxy - CONT'D.... also, there have been plenty of attacks, or does several deaths not matter to you?

Keep in mind that a wild orca has NEVER attacked a human being. Never.

  • @FreedomForOrcas so your telling me youv never seen an orca in captivity either? and also youd rather try to save the 41 orcas in captivity rather then the hundreds that are dieing in the wild? they arent being harmed except for the fact their being deprived of the chance to live in the wild whereas the whales in the wild are being deprived of necessities to life such as food.. and look at keiko he only lasted only a couple months in the wild before he died..

  • @shamuroxy - HAHAHAHA. You clearly have no idea what you're talking about. The orcas in the wild are fine. They aren't endangered at all (except maybe for the pods around American waters, their numbers started decreasing during the capture period.. you have Seaworld to thank for that). Wild orca are numbered in their tens of thousands. They are thriving. There is no immediate threat to their safety. Keiko died of pneumonia btw, a common orca disease.

FFS, do some research. You look like an idiot

  • @FreedomForOrcas right, they can have hardly any food cuz of overfishing and pollution.. and now the infant mortality rate is higher then it was and they are thriving.. thats makes perfect sense.. also keiko was looking for humans to interact with while he was in the wild which shows he enjoyed human interaction.. and malnutrition also contributed to his death

  • @shamuroxy - Yeah, overfishing and pollution are a problem, but right now it isn't having any damaging effects on orca population. Infant mortality rates were always high - baby orcas generally don't survive their first year (about 40%). That is something that has fluctuated but generally is at the same level. I don't know where you're getting your mystical information from, but imo you're making it up.

By the way Seaworld's mortality rate is ridiculously HIGH.

  • @FreedomForOrcas what mystical info? im not making anyhting up i looked it up on google which i know doesnt make it true but 5 different websites said the same thing about keiko so it cant be that far off.. and seaworlds mortality rate isnt high idk where you heard that..

  • @shamuroxy - Yeah, 5 different pro-captivity bias websites. Keiko died from pneumonia, granted, he had malnutrition, but that's because he was SICK. Even when people get sick, they drop heaps of weight. He survived in the wild for 5 years, he hunted on his own, socialised with other orca, and the ONLY reason he sought out human interaction was because his original pod was never found. He never saw his family again. In my opinion, his release was a success.

  • @FreedomForOrcas actually they were mostly news sites.. how is that a reason he sought human interaction? ok so he was looking for his second family, but then doesnt that prove he enjoyed the time he spent working with humans and did have some sort of bond with them? because if he hated it im sure he would have stayed away from them as best he could rather than searching for humans to swim with..

  • @shamuroxy - I don't think you realise that Keiko had absolutely no family, and the other orca pods would not allow him to join them. Of course he would go back to what is familiar. I don't doubt that Keiko had a bond with the people who released him, because, you know, they were on EQUAL terms (both species are free to interact with each other as they please). Keiko had choice. The orcas at Seaworld do not.

  • @takenbytaku - Massive text wall and i cbf replying to everything. Tilly has never really gotten along with any of the other orcas, besides Taima, I don't think there is a suitable companion for him. In reality, he should be with his real family in Iceland, but we can't have everything so we should make do with what we have. I personally believe the best thing for him is in a seapen, so he can experience what is natural, but be cared for by humans for the rest of his life.

  • @takenbytaku - Secondly, Taima is dead, and now Tilly is alone. The fact is, where he is now is not a suitable environment for him. The dominant females pick on him. The trainers can't touch him.

Multiple eye witness accounts, basically everyone who was there, state that Tilly grabbed her by the waist. Or are you saying every single person that was there somehow conspired to all tell the exact same lie? Hmm.

  • @takenbytaku - Does 10 hours not get through your head? Eye witness accounts clearly state they watched him all day, and they saw absolutely no interaction with any trainers, or toys. Look up the youtube user CGColleenGorman, she has videos of her visit to Seaworld, and of Tilly's predicament.

And YOU can't just believe everything Seaworld says. Of course they will lie, just like the tobacco companies lied about cancer. It's called trying to "make money". They are a corporation.

  • @takenbytaku - Have you even seen Tilly? I have read many eye witness accounts that have watched Tilly the WHOLE day they have been at Seaworld, he gets NO toys. Especially not anymore. One eye witness account's videos show Tilly being in a tank for 10 hours at one time, without any interaction with other orcas OR trainers, and NO toys.

Is that really what the life of an orca is supposed to be?

New evidence also shows that Tilly grabbed her by the waist, not the hair. Google it.

  • @takenbytaku I'm on your side man. I know the facts, but some whales just aren't meant for captivity.

I'm all for Orca captivity, but Tili shouldn't have been taken.

  • lol Serial killer whale

    it wasn;t the orcas fault!

  • DAMN NATURE U SCARY!

  • wait what:O a deadly predator serial killer?:O damn americans are stupid.

  • It is NOT Tillikum's fault.

  • The future of sea world? you selfish pigs,

  • oh "yeah lets keep him!! he's so cute when he kills people"

  • wow that reporter is a cow! A giant killer whale kills a tiny human and she talks about him like he's a serial killer. Wtf do you expect when you put a enormous animal like that in a freacking tank?

  • All of yu shut the FUCK up!! Lmao :) jk

  • "oh no !! And my daughter shat herself because a killer whale who is kept in captivity for over a decade, snapped"

Dumb mother fuckers. Anyone who makes money by keeping animals in captivity deserve to die.

  • @absolutePointer not all captivity is bad. just so you know

  • stupid title, people are the ones that confine these wild animals to concrete tanks...it's our own fault

  • Wow. Just take a look at the pen they have him in. And then you wonder why he's pissed off and chewing on somebody's hair. Can you say boredom, anger, and depression? Orcas don't belong in swimming pools. Just leave him alone. He's doing what comes natural when something gets in his way or annoys him. She knew the risks. Sucks to be her. AND him.

  • @dracojosh Yeah and it sucks that the Sea World policies don't have tranquilizer guns readily available for these kinds of incidents, because then it wouldn't matter if the stupid whale was bored, mad, or depressed. What are you a f*ckin animal psychologist?

  • @dracojosh A great person's life was taken, a person who loved animals, just like you. She was just doing what she loved for a living. She loved animals, she loved whales. And unfortunately, this all could have been prevented with a simple tranquilizer shot. But it sucks that a simple solution, such as a tranquilizer gun, can be viewed as "animal cruelty" by morons like you. So they don't have them around for these scenarios. Instead, let the human die, right? Save the whales! Lord help me.

  • @nkuhle No, a tranquilizer would have been of no use, it takes too long to take effect, and you would need a very large dosage of it to take down a whale that big. Not to mention it is a mammal, so it will drown in the water.

  • @nkuhle tranquilizers can actually do more harm than good when it is administered to certain animals like Orcas. It can actually cause them to drown. if too much is given and drugged animals are just as if not more dangerous than a non drugged animal. What happened with Dawn was an accident. Certain precautions with Tillikum were ignored and it ended up getting Dawn killed. Most of the orcas are not like that

  • tillikum is worth millions thats the only reason they keep him in captivity

  • its like when were stuck in school... that stresses people out

  • when any animal is in captivity it stresses them out

  • when they say "killer" they are stereotyping, these orca's are smart mammels, granted I don't feel they should be in captivity but they would never survive in the ocean, because they have been in captive for so long. I am however glad they didn't kill tilikum because of this last incident. Ofcourse he is after all a money maker, so why would they kill tilikum. People are so damn greety these days!!!

  • Free these animals NOW! Let them be free of human touch forever!

  • @csousa1971 well people will then kill him and killer whales are in endangerd of being extint

  • Poor Orca, I feel sorry for this animal stuck alone in a life he did not choose.

  • You know what if the orcas where left alone in the wild in the 1st peace THIS WOULD OF NEVER OF HAPPAN!!!!

  • Why is this even a story? Is the moniker "KILLER Whale" not indicative of their behavior and protocol? I mean goddamn, use some common sense, they're not supposed to be in captivity- they are the world's #1 predator, period.

  • Note she said their was no unusual activity during the show and she, the whitness mentioned nothing of Tillikum dragging the trainer in the water!!!

  • If tillikum is the main breeding male then that aggresion could be passed on if it is a hereditary problem.

  • Exactly. A "money stream". The only real reason why Tillikum is alive. He's the prize breeding bull, and if he disappeared, then there would be no more orcas for Sea World.

It's obvious that he's stressed out - he was taken when he was two years old, prematurely separated from his mother and pod, forced into a concrete tank, made to learn tricks for dead fish, housed with an artificial family. It's not surprising that he lashed out this way, not at all.

  • @FreedomForOrcas Agreed. However, if he were given more attention and care, He would be loved, and wouldn't lash out. This is due to Sea World's incompetence.

Places like MarineLand assign One trainer to one animal. This way they have a loving Bond with someone, and feel as if they have someone that enjoys them.

  • @FreedomForOrcas

I don't think orcas should be captive, but I also think it would be evil to kill him

  • I think he is depressed. They need to let them go. Its not right to separate them.

  • At this point these probably wouldn't survive in the wild but giving them much more space to live in captivity and not leaving them alone would be a good idea.

  • It seems this fish hates women. Violence against women is NOT OKAY...Men and fish both need to stop this!

  • @jackstrawfrmwchta AMEN brother ! It's a dumb fish, though. . .so what can one expect ? Tilikum SASHIMI for the next "Dine with Shamu" I say !

  • Set Killer whales aren't fish, they are mammels. They are also highly intelligent. Killer whales are actually not even whales, they are closer to dolphins,

  • It comes down to a Wild Animal in Captivity, only a matter of time before he/she snaps, just like a person in "jail" Third time this whale has "killed" a person. Going to happen again because Its all about the "Money" Big Draw, Save the Species. Should have left them where they belong. Stick you in a small cell and see what happens, then come up with some stupid analogy of why that person is acting out?

  • fucka you, fucka you dolphin and whaaaale

  • eeeew poor tillicum was forced to lick guys faces poor whale

  • APPLAUS!!

  • Some YT members tried to convince me the trainer's death was a cruel act! Ok, I'm convinced! In revenge, let's kill all sea animals in captivity! (Im kidding! Instead, I hope all animals in tanks kill their trainers! Similar to humans, animals shoud be free! )

  • "serial killer whale", america is so stupid.

    please god do something.

A hole country full of Idiots

  • it's funny how you say a whole country full of idiots, spelling "whole" as "hole" :D Really makes you sound convincing.

  • HE was saying "Asshole" not " whole " !

  • no. He was saying "a whole country full of idiots"

  • @realbushdoctor

That would be "whole" brainiac, not hole - what were you saying about idiots??? =/

  • @Kimmy1621 lol, that was a good one kimmy, in reference to realbusdoctor.

  • @realbushdoctor steritipical ass-hole lear that whatever fucking country your from the press is just as dumb ass you

  • @realbushdoctor A HOLE country full of idiots? HOLE country? And you call America stupid? Yeah, Americans like you, that is, lazy, welfare check collecting, overweight, uneducated morons. You'll be a complete douche bag your HOLE life. Go to hell, and take the rest of your kind with you.

  • @nkuhle HEY! HEY NOW! there is no need for that. America has its problems, true maybe more than what america needs but im sure whatever country you are from has problems similar to ours. Its not our fault that people keep coming into our country illegally. Bringing all their drugs and shit with them polluting the people who are actually smart in this country

  • @Silvawolf100 I agree bout time someone defends our country and I agree and you can't blame a whole country either I mean we don't ask for bad things to happen.

  • @xxgothvmp666xx I just dont like people dissing America unnecessarily

  • @Silvawolf100 i hear that i don't either no country deserves it

  • @realbushdoctor "A hole country" Nice diction, tardo.

  • @realbushdoctor

I agree, I hate being the neighbour of such idiots. >_>

  • @realbushdoctor Wow, America's stupid? At least I know the difference between "whole" and "hole" and If were so stupid why do people keep sneaking over the border?

  • I wouldnt address the title as Serial Killer Whale. This whale was once wild. He now has nothing...he has no freedom & it is sad to see how little room they have to swim. They shouldnt be in captivity

  • i think the real concern here is human life the whales have been in captivity for years its only now u all pipe up! have some respect for the family RIP Dawn

  • I feel sorry for the trainer as well as Tilikum.....they are making seem the whale as a serial killer? are you serious? it's an animal they are wild they don't think like we humans do...But we still try to dominate and play with wild animals as if they were little puppies...come on be real they are beautiful and this is just an accident is not intentional as when some humans kill others with no remorse or feelings....why don't we ask for justice on those cases as hard as on this one????

  • I Just wonder about People who go to that kind of Shows and Parks.

AND SUPPORT CAPTIVITY for those wonderfull creatures.

    Stop, do that to animals!

  • @stipefan81 i am going 2 c the whales and swimming with the dolphins wen i go to Florida for my birthday

  • Well dont you see these orcas where from the wild? and the dolphins are from the japan waters and half of there pods are killed for food?

maybe you could go see them in the wild=]

  • What? A serial killer whale? Come on! First, it's NOT a whale, but a kind of dolphin. Second, those animals should NOT be in a small tank but in the open sea. Third, the EXPERIENCED trainer who was killed, an "animal lover", should know that! I hope all caged animals did the way Tillikum did!

  • You have a good point but you are misunderstanding something. These whales are dying out and the captivity programs are meant to replenish the dying whales.

  • Grow up. Whether you don't agree with animals in captivity or not she was a human being. How dare you wish that fate on someone else. She was a wife and daughter...she was a person wirh a life. GROW UP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @Tilicum: Im disheartened by your tragedy. Contacted Quaker Oats in an attempt to help. In certain pivotal moments throughout history, cereal makers have created new marketable cereals to keep kids interested in their brands; i.e. Wilma the Winsome White Whale represented Vanilly Crunch ("crispy, creamy, colored globes of goodness") in 1973. Thought a kid-friendly version might help ease tensions. Your brand will be Tilicum: Cereal Killer Whale (with marshmallow Dawns).

  • I heard the whale belonged to al qaeda. homeland security is investigating.

  • Caged animals are violent and attack people!! If you didnt know that your dumb.

  • 'To deny liberty to a wild animal involves the diminishing of that animal's life. It is an

inherent characteristic of wild things to be free.. in almost all cases, the denial of this

inherent characteristic involves stress, frustration, anxiety and even aggression.'

(Professor Andrew Linzey, Animal Theologian, Oxford University 1987)

  • this is why we should leave them the hell alone..people really dont learn..the are not ment to be in a pool for amusement for people

  • And I have to say that the title is completely misleading and offensive towards the animal. It makes it sound like he intentionally kills people when I truly believe all the incidences were tragic accidents.

  • I really hate how all the news report try to pin the blame on Tillikum. He's a Killer Whale people, no one should be shocked. And what the F is she implying with her question: "Do you have a theory why Sea World still has this animal, Tillikum in the tank despite all these past instances?" It sounds to me like she is wondering why he hasn't been put down or something, like dogs are when they attack people. This is clearly a totally different situation.

  • fuck ure momaa... punk boy! Allah wakubarrrr!!

  • i like how when the newscaster basically asks the same question twice, the guy says "uh, tilicum provides semen to impregnate the females." haha

  • If a were a whale , kept in captivity, forced to do tricks to entertain people, i'd probably be looking to kill someone too.

  • Maybe this is why they call them "KILLER... WHALE'S"... WOOOOOOOOW who would have thought????????????????

    Frick!!!

  • @tillicumsondawn ur a fag you need to go get a life

  • *Glubglub* I wish I could get a life. *Glub* I'm stuck in this goddamned tank all the time. *Glubglub* I killed dat bitch for fun. Well, she was porking Shamu so I got a little jealous. *Glub* Good riddence, sow! *Glubglubglub* FUCK HUMANS!

  • Grow the f**k up! You are a sick sick individual...Grow some balls and grow up.

  • TilicumsOnDawn is so obviously a troll. Just look at his username(self-explanatory). He had to have created it within a couple of days, hes just trying to get attention.

    "DON'T FEED THE TROLL"!!!!!!!!!

  • You all are sick! I am ashamed that there are people in this world that would make a comment like Tilicumsondawn! Have some f***ing respect! She was a person, a human being with a family! Whether or not you agree with whale captivity is beside the point! Grow the F*** up!

  • if i were to ever become a whale trainer i would have to wear spurs, a spiked helmet and some spikes on my shoulders just so i know it wouldn't try to eat me !

  • I'm not trying to be funny, could it be that she made him sexually aroused by rubbing all on him. Wouldn't that frustrate the animal being that he might not have any companionship? When will we learn that animals have emotions and needs just like us? Why not open the tank up to the ocean and if the animals decide to come in great! When they do come pay them for their entertainment in fish then let them be on their way.

  • I'm on Jeff's side, the good side.

  • "She reinforced their infection"

  • No sympathy for anyone associated with SeaWorld and its abuse of whales - Dawn the trainer was dinner - hope it's the final lesson.

  • "Tillicom is Seaworlds' future."

Maybe Seaworld shouldn't have a future.

And why use an unstable male for breeding? aggression / temperment is hereditary in dogs. why not whales? Doesn't seem wise.

  • they need to release that poor animal back into the ocean. FAR away from humans...

  • free willie

  • she was penished by mighty Tilikum.

  • Jack Hanna doesn't know jack about animals' welfare. All he cares about is profit. Jack Hanna is a Wild Life Pimp!

  • Seems like this reporter was trying to get to the question.... why hasnt Tilikum been put down? What a *****. People are dumb and they even said that these animals get stressed when they are held in captivity... you play with fire, you may get burned.

  • This has got to stop..when are people going to F'n learn wildlife does not belong in captivity doing silly tricks for the silly amusement of others. Look at that dinky size of the tanks and especially that holding tank ?? People really are stupid.

  • LADBUDDY why you wana see that poor woman die??????

  • Because it is entertaining. Why else would we want to watch it. Why should people be the only ones having fun. How cool would it have been to see that display of power. To just snatch he up and shake her like a ragdoll until he could hear the bones snap. Now that's entertainment.

  • That is sick sh*t dude how would u feel if that was ur mum or sister or daughter and some fu*knugget was talkin about her like that. If you wana see a display of power watch them on the tv in the wild when the are killing a seal or food not killin a woman for no reason, i dont think the whales should be kept like that but she didnt deserve what happend. Get a grip

  • You're a sick human being.

  • @Losta7x actually, I am curious to see what it looked like. it's kinda like watching a 9/11 video. sad, but interesting.

  • this whale use to be in vancouver bc.

  • Victoria,BC actualy, tilly has never been to vancouver.

  • Injecting Depressed, Starving and Sick Whales with Anti-Depressants, Mind Altering Drugs, Steroids, Adrenaline, Testosterone, and Hormones. Abusing Whales daily, keeping them locked up for entertainment, not caring for their sickness, diseases, and other illnesses, and beating them daily and injecting them with all kinds of Drugs, Hormones, Steroids, Mind Altering Chemicals and Behavior Changing Drugs.

No wonder whales strike back, I am glad this abused whale fought back, hope they release him.

  • thats horrible... its not very humane... i dont think ill be going to sea world ever again

  • LAME! WHERE IS THE ATTACK VIDEO!

  • Tilli is not a serial killer .. he is a wild animal. The same could have done a trained lion , they just want to be in their natural habitat, not in a pool or a zoo.

For more trained they are, will come a time that they'll bring out the wild, they were not born to be in captivity.

btw I'm really sorry for the trainer.. R.I.P

  • The MMC survey from the University of California discovered

that more than half of marine mammal workers had been injured

by the animals (251 cases) Those in regular contact

with marine mammals or involved with cleaning and repairing

enclosures were more likely to be injured. Trainers and dolphinari-

um staff are frequently injured, but these incidents are rarely

reported publicly. Naomi Rose PhD. 2009

  • 52% of respondents reported marine-mammal-inflict-

ed injuries, 89% of injuries to hands, feet, arms,

    or legs; 8% on the torso/abdomen; 4%

on the face. 30%+ injuries were severe (90

cases) either a deep wound requiring stitches, or a

    fracture. Contact more than 50

days a year with enclosed marine mammals were several times

more likely to suffer a traumatic injury. Assessment

of the risk of zoonotic disease transmission to marine mammal

workers and the public. Naomi A. Rose PhD -2009
