HAHHAHAHA taiwan got hit the hardest, but it dosen't matter china still got hit. fucken japanese massacred us chinese fuck you. I just hope ain't no modern WWIII cause it will get bloody, because as weapon gets upgraded and lved up we human stay at lv 1
It is about China civil war 1946-1949(Actually we have kept fighting each other for over 2000 years) and Korean war. The main part of the this movie is the story of the company commander after the wars. A old soldier found the truth was they were abandoned at fightfield by the army and forgotten by the goverment.
China fought with sticks and rocks when they entered korean war but UN troops had to retreat because they were wayyyyyyy tooooo many that they ran out of amo... China has the highest death toll during the korean war where they engaged only the half of the war
taeguki sucks. hated it. almost like a sci-fi to me, because S.Korean army didn't do shit in Korean war. The war is basically between the China and US, they just borrowed Korean as a battlefield.
From 1 July, 1946 to 30 June 1950, CCP made KMT lose 8.07 million troops (regular army and irregular army), and 10.65 million if include 1945. And 8.07 million includes 1.71
casulties, 4.5 million captives, and the rest are missings or betrayers. CCP had 260,000 men killed, 1.04 million injured, 200,000 missing. It is pretty intresting KMT and CCP changed many captives into their own soliders during the war.
When WW2 ended, the second civil war broke out between KMT and CCP after American intermediation in vain. It is supposed officially that the second civil war started in 1946 and ended in 1949 when CCP took most part of the land except Tibet, Hainan, Taiwan and other very few places. CCP claimed to establish a new China (PRC) in 1 Oct., 1949 and KMT retreated to Taiwan. CCP took all part of China indeed in early 1950s except Taiwan.
The nationalist party(KMT)finished the last Chinese feudalistic dynasty in 1911, and in a few years began a close co-operation with CCP until 1927 when the leader of KMT, Jiang Jieshi (representing the Chinese government - Republic of China) claimed that CCP was illegal and tried to arrest and kill the members of CCP around the country. Therefore, the first Chinese civil war broke out. When Japan invaded China all-sided in 1937, KMT had to start the second co-operation with CCP to fight Japs.
yeah well in chinese history he's noted as a generally good guy. the cultural revolution was a large error he made that got out of hand, but nowdays most people in china reckon they're better off than they would have been if chang was still in charge
Mao was a megalomaniac that murdered his political subordinates when they threatened his absolute power and pursued a misguided policy of continuous "revolution" that directly resulted in the deaths of millions of Chinese, not just in the Cultural Revolution, but even before that in the Great Leap Forward.
If anything, I'm thankful that Zhou Enlai was around to rein in the Red Guard and keep Mao from doing even worse damage to Chinese cultural artifacts and killing even more people.
many of the deaths were due to famine (u can't blame a megalomaniac for famine), while the rest were commited by red guards blindly following mao's ideals to the point of fanatic rabidism, so anyone who even THOUGHT about questioning Mao was arrested and thrown into prison to rot.

The famines went out of control due to poor planning by the Central Government and corruption- regional officials inflated their yields in order to curry the favor of Mao and his allies in Beijing.
A big symptom of megalomania is denial and delusion- he blindly pursued the Great Leap Forward, creating the conditions for what's considered the largest famine in human history.
the central government just came out of a war that last almost half a century with barely any resources to handle a famine, since the nationalists had taken most of wat was left when they fled to taiwan and the communists had barely any to begin with.
i got nothing to add to the great leap forward bit, cos it was a pretty big screw up.

You can only go so far with the "nationalists took all the money" bit... Ultimately, very poor policy decisions were made on behalf of the party's dominance in the nation, and not on the behalf of the common people- to me, an unforgivable betrayal and blatant hypocrisy on Mao and his cronies' part.
...i can't believe i'm arguing politcal history with a guy on a website that allows you to watch power rangers whenever you want.
that may be true, however the real question that started this entire issue is 'was mao better or worse than chang?' and i'd like to think that china was better off while under mao than chang. mao did screw up with the great leap forward and the cultural revolution, but i'm pretty sure that china won't be were it is today if it remained under nationalist rule.
Chinese civil war, after WWII with the Communist Mao Tse Tung VS Chang Ki Shek of the Nationalists. At least I think it is. Chang was pushed out of mainland China onto Taiwan, and Mao took over as the PRC. Not familiar with the battla.

jessriy 4 years ago 3

kk15987 4 years ago

EPsuperFan 4 years ago
EPsuperFan 4 years ago
