As a half greek half brit I can be objective, I think the reason Britain is keeping the marbles is just to bring visitors to the museum. I have been to closed parts of the british museum on a school art trip and the amount of Greek and Roman plundered statues or "baught" statues they have that aren't even on display! I say give the marbles back to Greece and put all those un-displayed statues in their place!

well buddy wake up!!! did you know that they cut the marbles into pieces in order to take them easier to london?? and a few years ago they used some kind of axid to clean them(so they damaged them more). in greece we use special lasers to clean our monuments.. so read a newspaper...
