Respond to this video... The TDE can be activated by pushing the P1 hotkey located above your keyboard. Make sure your laptop is plugged in, because TDE can only be activated when it is plugged in and not on battery.
There’s 2 video cards on the system. Intel HD Graphics and Nvidia 325M. GPU Boost lets the laptop automatically switch to the Nvidia graphics when doing something graphic intensive, so you don't need to manually activate it
@MSImobile thankyou for the quick reply, I press the p1 button, but there is no indication that anything has changed, no icon and no notification, is there a background program that needs be running whilst i press the button? thanks :)
@Jak32X There's usually an icon that pops up in the middle of the screen to show whether it's on/off. Make sure your laptop is plugged in and not running on battery. You can download and reinstall the System Control Manager from the MSImobile website-> Search for FX600 --> Driver/manual Download --> Scroll over to Download and choose "Utility", you should be able to find it there. :) Sorry about the complicated steps, seems like youtube is not letting us post urls.

Thank you for replying MSI, its ok that it doesn't have Bluetooth i love this laptop, but i am curious you say you have to plug it to the ac for the P1 to work? i did this and press the button yet it still doesn't work, do i need to do something in the bios, or download a driver for this to work?
Hey MSI, i bought this notebook, i have 2 question 1, i have the fx603 does it have bluetooth?, 2, were the power button is, there are other buttons, but when i press them they dont light up just the power button, they all work except th P1, and media, button gone do review on this let me know if you have any info thanks in advance
The P1 button on this model is for enabling the TDE (turbo drive engine) technology. It enhances the overall system performance (overclocking), and in order to turn the TDE on, you will need to have the laptop connected to AC power. And as for Bluetooth, I'm afraid the FX603 that we are carrying in USA does not come with bluetooth.
Hi I bought this but an older one with the I3. I really love it except for the screen resolution. It's 1366 x 768. Is it possible to order a full HD lcd screen from you guys?

@erguen One is a USB/e-SATA combo, so you can use that port for both purposes

@kavi711 There will be some difference in the performance since Intel designed i5 with 2 core. But both should run minecraft with no problem.

@GadOlinium1 Try downloading the "System Control Manager" on the website, this should do the trick.

@GadOlinium1 Sorry, having trouble posting the link. First, go to MSI Global Website, type "FX603" in the search, and go to "download'.
Then, scroll over to "download" and choose "utility", you'll find the System Control Manager in the list.
