I got my eyebrows waxed at Regis. The lady did a really good job and my eyebrows look good. You have to tell them wether or not your skin is sensitive or not so they can use the sensitive wax.

Does anyone else think the wax feels good and soothing? XD

Eyebrows can be particularly sensitive, we use a hard wax at our salon that doesn't use the muslin strip and is much gentler on sensitive skins. Strip wax can remove skin very easily! So be careful! If in doubt, go to a professional...

@SafeDickhead i personally think the pain is quite equal to me, but when waxing the pain is only felt for like 2 seconds, when the paper is ripped off, afterwards it sort of hurts but barely. when plucking u feel the pain throughout the whole process so u have pain for a longer time, B/C plucking is so much slower. it might be different to u, but im just telling you about how it is to me.

I do my eyebrows almost every month, and why does it get sooo red when i finish and the next day i have pimple near the eyebrow area. I use a hot kind of gluey thing to do my eyebrows someone in the salon does it for me.

If you dont want any extra hair on that strip lay the strip down onto the eye from the top of the wax down!

If you slap it straight on the middle or from the bottom of the wax up there is a risk of moving or pushing wax up onto the brow once more!

i wud suggest threading yourself. i do that for upper lip hair and it's way better than shaving. shaving neck and cheek would hurt your skin i think. if you practice threading, it's quite helpful ! i learned it from youtube lol

It's not that bad, I've been tweezing and waxing myself for years now (my sister too). A lot of my friends (with lower pain thresholds) think that facial waxing is less painful than bikini waxing.

You're lucky you're so young too, if you start now it'll be easier on you later in life. I started at about your age and I'm now 24, I hardly have to wax my eyebrows anymore, a lot of the hair stopped growing back in!

You can make a sugar depilatory at home. It is great for sensitive skin. But remember the hair needs to be a little long for you to wax it. I'd say 1/4 of an inch is long enough.
