Analogue Systems EMS Synthi filter RS500E VCS3 on joystick with Sorcerer

So has anyone A/B'd a modern modular synth with the rs500e filter against a real Synthi A of VCS-3? How close does the replica get? Also, how important is the trapezoid envelope generator in recreating the classic VCS-3/Synthi A sound? Are the other envelope generators (say an ADSR unit) that can replicate the functionality of the trapezoid generator?

Hello Sir, i never understood monophonic and polyphonic. Is it within the keyboard itself or in the modules? Is this synth polyphonic and if so how many voices and what decides that? Thank you

Thank you, the keyboard is the Analogue System Sorcerer, Joystick and CV/Midi controller is standard on it, then you can choose the modules you want in...

Very nice set up with the modules loaded into the keyboard rack. Is that commercially available or custom?

Good idea to link the DDL to the joystick too.

Yep we can make music with it, the joystick just control the opening of the delay/reverb and the frequency of the Oscillator. With less joystick, you can make intervals of 2 tones or an entire octave. I wil put another patch in the same way...
