    RAMA RAMA HARE HARE!!!!!

  • stephen knapp is very great. His teachings are understandable and makes me to think and moves towards spirutuality and lord krishna

  • Krishna is blue because that color represents the hue of pure consciousness.

  • Dear Stephen, it would be wonderful to have Your great books available on audio.

  • is krishna from another planet because he has blue skin????

he looks human just seems very cosmic

  • @MagicalOillusions Colors are simply used to determine status of the being (deity, mortal, ect)

  • you are very wise Stephen

  • Sri Krsna is the One Who declared in the Bhagavad Gita - the divine song - "Brahmano hi Pratishtha ham." It means - "I am the basis of the formless Brahm. I am its support. I am its origin."

    Jai Sri Radhe!

  • If you liked ‘Fingerprints of Gods” by Graham Hancock, you will definitely like ‘When did the Mahabharata War Happen? The Mystery of Arundhati

The book evaluates astronomy evidence (over 200 astronomy and chronological observations from the Mahabharata text) to predict the timing of the Mahabharata War. Mahabharata is the longest epic in the world, 8 times Iliad and Odyssey

    combined, written in Sanskrit.

The Book is available on Amazon.

When one sincerely seeks out the absolute truth Lord Krsna who is the paramatama in the heart leads you to him. Athato brahma jijnasa: "Now one should inquire about Brahman thats the meaning of human life

  • Hare Krsna! All glories to Srila Prabhupada!

Thank You, Stephen Knapp, very much for Your service to us and Lord Krsna.

For those who understand the Vedas know that the only relevant currency in the material world as well as the spiritual sky is unconditional love. Pure love for all entities equally, as they are all part and parcel of the energy of God, Sri Krisna.

  • Your service in preparing these wonderful knowledge- filled bhakti- inducing videos is much appreciated. HKHR (ACBSP)

  • hare krishna....may whole world understand the value of eternal peace. Om Bhagwate Vasudevaye

  • #1 High Character - You mean in islamic way - Killing , raping , Pedo , torture - dear , you can say all these may be 20, 30 years back - Not now - internet age- Now the whole world knows about Mohammed and His evil cult (except brain dead Muslims)

  • science proof too --You mean - like, sun setting in murky water , earth is flat etc - come on - no Jokes - when we are seriously discussing.

  • You said - all books out there says - yes all islamic books say this. No sane person will follow Mohammed. He him self was suffered NPD (Narcissistic Personality Disorder )

  • I don't agree SaihatAlhaq. Due respect to Allah, you are talking like a frog in a well. Krishna is God-head. Kindly read Bhagwat Gita.

  • so u mean Krishna is same as Jesus in Christianity....they both form human image and left

  • Thank you for this brilliant explanation. These ancient texts are totally incredible. Who would have thought that 5000 years and longer ago people had such high non sectarian philosophy, when most of the rest of the World was still in the dark ages? well still is actually

  • I am thinking that who am I to say who God is

He is who He is and nothing anyone can imagine

or picture can change his real identity.

If God changed everytime your views changed of Him, than we could actually be greater than Him.

Books are just books But God will do what he

    pleases.

That is just what my thoughts have been lately.

I guess I have a lot of questions.

  • krishna is god.Why dont you accept

  • Is he everywhere or somewhere else?

  • Hare krishna...Thank you for your sincere efforts in presenting the supreme god ...glory to God and his names..Thank u once again

  • Jai, This is wonderful. Hare Krsna!

  • Whose brahma sutras translation are you reading from? I ask because the one that I have, commentated upon by Shankara, does not us the word "He" in the second verse?

    Thank you

  • Very nice.

  • Great video. Krsna stu Bhagavan Svayam.

    watch?v=HbPspkmUoYA

  • Jai Sri Radhey

Use intelligent and soul for Truth

    Jai Sri Krishna

  • Haridham, Just wanted to add here that I am also KrishnaKaBhakt. I will try my best in future not to confuse you with two different user names.

  • Very nice question. Regarding verses 4.7 and 8, Lord Krsna explains that HE comes. He in his original form comes in Vishnu tattvas.

As for verse 7.21, in the translation you have put in brackets "craving for some worldy object" but that is not what Krsna states. He says that anyone who desires to worship any perticular diety he makes his faith steady in that deity. However to understand that verse we must look at verses 7.20 22 and 23 to get a clearer picture.

  • kāmais tais tair hṛta-jñānāḥ

    prapadyante 'nya-devatāḥ

    taḿ taḿ niyamam āsthāya

    prakṛtyā niyatāḥ svayā

"Those whose intelligence has been stolen by material desires surrender unto demigods and follow the particular rules and regulations of worship according to their own natures"

    B.G 7.20

  • One can only be mad without proper knowledge. Hence you are mad. Thank you and educate yourself.

  • Yeah, the hare krsna's wash the dirt out of peoples brains. You should educate yourself. Your words make no sense to anyone who has been educated about their culture. Shiva purana is tamasic so it will say that about Lord Shiva. Its funny how you claim to be hindu yet dont know anything. You dont even know the basics of your culture. You are right, we are not following hinduism, we are following vedic culture.

  • Hari Om Sri Haridham, I am a STUDENT oF Bhagavad Geeta as well as HINDUISM Will you please explain in detail the following verses: CHAPT 4, VERSE 7 & 8 yada yada hi dharmasya glanir bhavati bharata abhyutthanam adharmasya tadatmanam srjamy aham paritranaya sadhunam vinasaya ca duskrtam dharma-samsthapanarthaya sambhavami yuge yuge Can these verses be applied to all the AVATARS (demigods, Son of God, and Prophets)?
  • Another key verse is 9.23, where Lord Krsna states that when one worships other devatas, they are ultimatly worshiping him but in the wrong way.

    ye 'py anya-devatā-bhaktā

    yajante śraddhayānvitāḥ

    te 'pi mām eva kaunteya

    yajanty avidhi-pūrvakam

"Those who are devotees of other gods and who worship them with faith actually worship only Me, O son of Kuntī, but they do so in a wrong way"

  • I am continuing my Questions Sri Haridham,

Please Explain to me this Verse from Bhagavad Geeta Chapt. 7, Verse 21:

Yo yo yam yam tanum bhaktah sraddhayarcitumicchati

    Tasya tasyacalam sraddham tameva vidadhamyaham.

Whatever celestial form a devotee (craving for some worldly object) chooses to worship with reverence, I stabilize the faith of that particular devotee in that very form.

Thankyou very much. Please remember I am a Student. Its on my profile.

  • sa tayā śraddhayā yuktas

    tasyārādhanam īhate

    labhate ca tataḥ kāmān

    mayaiva vihitān hi tān

Endowed with such a faith, he endeavors to worship a particular demigod and obtains his desires. But in actuality these benefits are bestowed by Me alone.

  • Also its nice to know that you are a student. See in order to understand the gita there are 2 things required. 1.You have to be a devotee of Krsna, 2.You have to learn it from a bonafide Guru coming from the parampara of Lord Krsna. Without Guru, Sadhu sastra from a bonafide sampradaya one cannot advance spiritualy.

  • Haridham, I do see in your profile that you are from ISCON.

Please tell me who is your GURU, since I do not know much about ISCON.

    Also are you an Indian?

Just Curious because your profile says that you are a friendly person.

  • My Guru is His Holiness Gopal Krishna Maharaj Disciple of His Divine Grace A.C Bhaktivedenta Swami Prabhupad.

I have an indian body but I am an eternel spirit soul. Jivera svarupe hoyer krsner nitya das. According to the vedic culture we are not these bodies.

If you want to know more you are welcome to send me a private messege.

  • Dharm:

Ultimately God (Brahman) is beyond all words and concepts and human intelligence.

  • This shows how ignorant you are. Only a mad person would make ignorant statements and consider them facts.

    śrī-bhagavān uvāca

    imaḿ vivasvate yogaḿ

    proktavān aham avyayam

    vivasvān manave prāha

    manur ikṣvākave 'bravīt

The Personality of Godhead, Lord Śrī Kṛṣṇa, said: I instructed this imperishable science of yoga to the sun-god, Vivasvān, and Vivasvān instructed it to Manu, the father of mankind, and Manu in turn instructed it to Ikṣvāku

  • So yes, clear your head of dogmas and learn about your culture. Because of blind faith you are ignorant. Ofcourse if you were actually intelligent you would know that the Bhagavad Gita was spoken in the beggining of time to Vivasvan. The vedic teachings have always existed but they were put in written form just at the end of dvarpa yuga.

  • He also summarized the Puranas into four-hundred-thousand verses which are still available in the heavenly domain in the form if one billion verses."

  • Vayaviya Samhita (7.1.1. 37-38) --

sanksipya caturo vedams caturdha vyabhajat prabhuh

    vyasta-vedataya khyato veda-vyasa iti smrtah

    puranam api sanksiptam· catur-laksa-pramanatah

    adyapyamartya-loke tu sata-koti-pravistaram

    sanksiptam ityatra teneti sesah

"That Lord who is most intelligent then divided the Vedas into four. He therefore became known as Veda Vyasa. To be continued in the next messege.

  • evam ime sarva veda nirmitah sa-kalpah sa-rahasyah sa-brahmanah sopanisatkah setihasah sanvakhyatah sa-puranan

"In this way, all the Vedas were manifested along with the Kalpas, Rahasyas, Brahmanas, Upanisads, Itihasas, Anvakhyatas and the Puranas." (Gopatha Brahmana, purva 2.10)

  • sa brhatim disam anu vyacalat tam itihasas ca puranam ca gathas ca itihasasya ca sa vai puranasya ca gathanam ca narasamsinam ca priyam dhama bhavati ya evam veda

"He approached the brhati meter, and thus the Itihasas, Puranas, Gathas and Narasamsis became favorable to him. One who knows this verily becomes the beloved abode of the Itihasas, Puranas, Gathas and Narasamsis." (Atharva Veda 15.6.10--12)

  • rcah samani chandamsi puranam yajusa saha

    ucchistaj-jajnire sarve divi deva divi-sritah

"The Rg, Sama, Yajur and Atharva became manifest from the Lord, along with the Puranas and all the Devas residing in the heavens." (Atharva Veda 11.7.24)

  • bharata-vyapadesena hyamnayarthah pradarsitah

vedah pratisthah sarve sarve purane natra samsayah

"On the pretext of writing the Mahabharata, Vyasa explained the meaning of the Vedas. Certainly all the topics of the Vedas have been established in the Puranas." (Visnu Purana)

  • You obviously still have no clue what you are talking about. This shows how ignorant you are. That the Vedas are eternal and apauruseya is a fact that all sampradayas, including the school of Sankara, unanimously agree with. So they werent written before vyasadev, vyasadev is the one who put them in written form. Before they are passed down through Shabda Brahman. You know what Shadba Brahman is right?

  • You are incorrect, It was Srila Vyasadev who composed all the vedic literature under the guidence of narad muni, Srila Vyasadev knew people in kaliyuga would be confused so he wrote for everyone according to their gunas. Those in tama guna worship Shiva because he takes care of them, raja gunis worship Durga, ganesh etc. But then he concluded with the Srimad Bhagavatam which is the essence of vedic literature which states Krsna stu bhagavan svayam. u would see that if u saw and educated yourself

  • In order to think for yourself you must know what the self is, if you think you are a hindu then you are not thinking for yourself. I copy paste knowledge, you copy paste ignorance from your mind, i guess thats ok right? Actually its because of people like you that the cast system is flourishing, nowhere in the vedic literature cast by birth is mentioned.

  • Now where is your proof of the otherwise? I have studied vedic culture and I know what you may bring, so I am prepared for that. Krishna is the source of Brahman, he is the source of all other devatas, I have proved it, where is your proof?

  • īśvaraḥ paramaḥ kṛṣṇaḥ

Kṛṣṇa who is known as Govinda is the Supreme Godhead. He has an eternal blissful spiritual body. He is the origin of all. He has no other origin and He is the prime cause of all causes

    Brahma Samhita 5.1(Lord Brahma)

"I worship Govinda, the primeval Lord, whose effulgence is the source of the nondifferentiated Brahman mentioned in the Upaniṣads, being differentiated from the infinity of glories of the mundane universe appears as the indivisible, infinite, limitless, truth".

    Lord Brahma (Brahma-saḿhitā 5.40)

  • brahmaṇo hi pratiṣṭhāham

    Bhagavad Gita 14.27

  • Who is the source of all?.

    vadanti tat tattva-vidas

    tattvaḿ yaj jñānam advayam

    bhagavān iti śabdyate

"Learned transcendentalists who know the Absolute Truth call this nondual substance Brahman, Paramātmā or Bhagavān"

    Srimad Bhagavatam 1.2.11

Here it is explained that God has 3 aspects and Bhagavan is the source of all which will be explained later.

  • yānti deva-vratā devān

    pitṝn yānti pitṛ-vratāḥ

    bhūtāni yānti bhūtejyā

    yānti mad-yājino 'pi mām

Those who worship the demigods will take birth among the demigods; those who worship the ancestors go to the ancestors; those who worship ghosts and spirits will take birth among such beings; and those who worship Me will live with Me.(Lord Krsna)

    Bhagavad Gita 9.25

  • Do you always presume others are ignorant of vedic culture as you are? Vaishnavism is siddhanta. Do you even know who composed vedic literature? Do you know what his conclusion was? You obviously are so uneducated that even proof wont work for you. You stated that there was no proof and I am giving you. You even deny that.

  • "Lowest of all is located Devī-dhāma [mundane world], next above it is Maheśa-dhāma [abode of Maheśa]; above Maheśa-dhāma is placed Hari-dhāma [abode of Hari] and above them all is located Kṛṣṇa's own realm named Goloka. I adore the primeval Lord Govinda, who has allotted their respective authorities to the rulers of those graded realms."

    Brahma Samhita 5.43

  • Worshiping one diety is not equal to worship the supreme dieity(Krsna/vishnu)

    goloka-nāmni nija-dhāmni tale ca tasya

    devi maheśa-hari-dhāmasu teṣu teṣu

te te prabhāva-nicayā vihitāś ca yena

    govindam ādi-puruṣaḿ tam ahaḿ bhajāmi

  • Here it is explained that Lord Vishnu is the best among the 3 because he is in satva guna and thats theh best step towards liberation

  • mumukṣavo ghora-rūpān

    hitvā bhūta-patīn atha

    nārāyaṇa-kalāḥ śāntā

    bhajanti hy anasūyavaḥ

Those who are serious about liberation are certainly nonenvious, and they respect all. Yet they reject the horrible and ghastly forms of the demigods and worship only the all-blissful forms of Lord Viṣṇu and His plenary portions(Śrīmad Bhāgavatam 1.2.26)

  • There are 3 modes of material nature(tama, rajas and sastva guna) and Lord Krsna's guna avatars are Vishnu, Brahma and Lord Shiva. Lord Vishnu controls satva guna, Lord Brahma controls raja guna, and Lord Shiva controls Tama guna. Lord Krsna is the source of the 3 but because he is trancendental, he is above the 3 modes and doesnt touch the modes. The 3 are his guna avatars.

  • "The transcendental Personality of Godhead(Sri Krsna) is indirectly associated with the three modes of material nature, namely passion, goodness and ignorance, and just for the material world's creation, maintenance and destruction He accepts the three qualitative forms of Brahmā, Viṣṇu and Śiva. Of these three, all human beings can derive ultimate benefit from Viṣṇu, the form of the quality of goodness".(Śrīmad Bhāgavatam 1.2.23)

  • sattvaḿ rajas tama iti prakṛter guṇās tair

yuktaḥ paraḥ puruṣa eka ihāsya dhatte

    sthity-ādaye hari-viriñci-hareti saḿjñāḥ

śreyāḿsi tatra khalu sattva-tanor nṛṇāḿ syuḥ

  • Ok thats interesting. Vedic culture is based on Guru, Sadhu and sastra. The vedic literature helps people gradually elevate out of the 3 gunas to go to Krsna. People worship a perticular deveta due to the guna they are in. I have studied the vedas, and Krishna is the source of Brahman. I will present to you evidence from the vedic scriptures in the following. Obviously because you are not educated you keep making outlandish claims as Krishna is never mentioned as supreme in the vedic literature.

  • agnirvai devanamavamo vishnuh paramah tadantara sarva devatah

"Agni is the lowest and Vishnu is the highest among devas. All other gods occupy positions that are in between." (Aitareya Brahmana 1.1.1)

See the above states that Lord Vishnu is best among the devas(demigods) although Lord Vishnu is higher then the demigods he is considered one of them because Lord Krsna is even his source, which will be explained later.

  • Vishnu is the best of all gods. Brahma and the rest are dependent on Him. Whatever I [Lord Krsna] state is the truth.( 3.28.62-63 Garuda Purana)

The above explains that Lord Vishnu is considered the best among the demigods as only he can offer liberation and the devatas always go to him for support.

  • Actually hare Krsnas are the only one preserving vedic culture. YOu have no clue that the current form of hinduism, infact the name hindu was given to you by muslims.

  • In actuality the word hindu or the current form of hinduism is never mentioned in any vedic culture. The current form of hinduism is a free for anything goes. I used to be part of that but then i educated myself. So you are right, I am not a hindu but then again neither are you. Vedic culture is not limited to sentimentalism. There is only God. Some call him Krishna, some allah, some buddha thats fine, however considering Lord Ganesh equal to Lord Krishna is not following vedic culture.

  • Main stream hinduism is a farce. I am basing everything I state from the vedic scriptures, where is your proof? Lord Shiva is supreme for those in tama guna, Durga is supreme for those in raja guna, however Krishna is the source of Ganesh, Durga etc as mentioned in vedic culture.

I find that you are so anti islamic with your videos but yet dont know anything abuot your own culture at all. Perhaps you should educate yourself about your own culture instead of hating islam.

  • Great work. This is wonderful, there is so much nonsense on youtube regarding Lord Krsna and vedic culture but you are helping clean out some of that.

  • "You do understand that Krishna, Shiva, Ganesh, Sarasvati, Laxmi and all the other Gods and Godesses are the diffrent aspects of the Eternal God?"

That is incorrect, Krishna is Godhimself not an aspect of God. Shiva, Ganesh etc are devatas(demigods) not Bhagavan. The demigods are servents of Krsna. When you worship durga or Krishna it is not the same as worshiping Krsna. This is the common misconception that indians have because they dont follow Guru, Sadhu and Sastra.

  • Hari Om

    One God, Many Forms !!!!

Therefore Krishna, Shiva, Ganesh, Sarasvati, Lakshmi,

    AND EVEN

Buddha, Jesus etc. etc. are all forms of the same God.

Therefore Hinduism is a religion of Tolerence to all.

  • Yes, One God many forms however Ganesh, Durga and Shiva are not the original forms of God. Krishna is Godhimself not a form of God but the source of all the demigods. Jesus is the Son of God, not God himself. Lord Buddha is an incarnation of Krsna.

In order to understand vedic culture we need Guru, Sadhu and sastra.

We should not mistake ignorance with tolerance.

  • Shiva, Ganesh Sarasvati etc are servents of God(krishna) they are not God themselves.

  • hare krishna!!
