thats a big cat i think it might be a tuxedo main coon and i never cute my cats nails its bad enough the previous previous owner who had my cat de-clawed him
@ cky12qxz Yarn is very dangerous for a cat to play with. If they swallow too much of it, it can twist their intestines and cause serious harm. Ask your vet about it and they can explain it better.
@cky12qxz Declawing and cutting cats nails are different. Declawing is against any vets or CFA...etc. as you permanently remove the nails. Cutting nails are standard practice and all reputable breeders recommend cutting nails every 2 weeks for young ones and every 3-4 weeks for older cats. You are supposed to keep cats indoors and any reputable breeders would have contract stating that (to avoid accidental death, diseases.) You should talk to a good vet to clear things up.
My cats like an angel. he would let me if i tried. But i won't ever try unless it absolutely necesary, thats just cruel because then he can't play around in the garden hunting birds and chase dragonflies proplerly.
@CatsandMusic98 There's nothing cruel about it, it's no worse for the cat than it is for you to trim your finger nails. My cats are entirely indoors, so they don't chase after birds, but I do provide them with scratch towers, which is also a good way to keep their claws trimmed. If you don't trim them then they can grow into the paw pads - then it becomes cruelty
LoL Notice how it was a like a Siamese cat, then the long-haired cat..? They probably had to switch the cats because the second cat was more calm about the clipping ordeal.

I'm NEVER going to de-nail or even clip my cats nails. She loves to play with yarn and stuff :3

I had to laugh at this. last time I tried to cut my cats nails I ended up with a lot of scratches and more than a couple bites.

I don't know a single cat that would sit that still to have it's nails clipped. I need a more realistic solution! :)
