@Fernandez218 First of all, thanks! Sounds like genuine curiosity, so here's the answer... in regards to the US Open... to quote "The Unforgiven"... "deserve's got nothin' to do with it." Anyone can play the US Open. Literally. Someone who has never played before could sign up and enter several events at the US Open. Many 13-year-olds can beat me, but remember, it's the US Open, not the World Championships. At 13, Koki Niwa could've won the US Open... maybe. Fun fact: I won this match 8>)

but i know in tennis, not just anybody can sign up for Wimbledon, ya know? it's called a gentleman's open tennis tournament, yeah. so, technically anybody can come in, but audiences don't show up to see one newbie get clobbered.

moving on. when did you first start dancing? do you dance every day? do other exercises? have you ever been injured? could u include some of this on ur site?

@Fernandez218 My pleasure. In the US, table tennis doesn't have the media exposure or viewership that tennis does. The China Open and other pro tournaments are more critical of who qualifies. I must've started dancing at 9. I don't dance every day... but whenever there is good music playing... I will not deny myself the right to get down. Exercise? I play table tennis quite often 4-5 days a week... and I do a lot of running because I procrastinate. I injure myself fairly often. Perhaps 8>)

@Fernandez218 In that case, I am flattered that you think I am a serial-killer. I started playing around the age of 7 with my dad at home. I now play about 4-5 days a week. My dad gave me some basics and I had a coach for a little while (less than a year) and really didn't want to practice the same shots 100 times in a row... I just wanted to play around. A lot of my "game" is self-taught or discovered. That's why it is so whacky and funny-looking. And I am not into hurting people. 8>)
