  • By the time our sun becomes a red giant, we wouldn't be able to live on earth anyway because it'll already start doomsday long before this happens.

600,000,000 A.D.- 99% of plant species that use C3 carbon dioxide 4 photosynthesis will die.

800,000,000 A.D. - Same thing will happen with plants that use C4 carbon dioxide 4 photosynthesis. All plants will probably be dead by then. This will kill primary consumers and affect the entire food chain.

    1,000,000,000 A.D. - No more liquid water on e

  • i would think that mars would also be blown away and no longer orbiting in a circle, but just floating around..

  • If we survive that long we'll either be so advanced we could simply stop it ever happening or we'd have moved to another distant, habitable planet long ago.

  • i not that sure if the sun actually die like that , you could just make up stuff?

  • @KayKay130x It's actually true, our sun is like other stars, has same processes etc. and it actually gets 10% brighter every billion years, gradually all the time, even today. In 1 billion years it will be 80 degrees warmer, about 8 degrees warmer every 100 million years. It's true, it's just like any other star.

  • You know if we have no sun, we couldn't live anymore o.O

  • 5 billion years from now

My great great great x1000 grandchildren

    Floating in space

  • dam nature u scary

  • Lol. The human race will be long extinct before the sun dies. Ahhh. Inevitability

  • I WILL SURVIE IM A N ALIEN LOL

  • to pandora

  • ..........but will it blend???

  • all will be dead before this event...dont worry guys

  • @neuae what if people read your comment 115 billion years from now? I think they will be upset.

  • @ThePsychicZombie hahah, very funny

  • i am now thoroughly depressed.

  • our sun does not have enough mass to become a red giant or start a black hole whats most likely is that it just flutters out and we go into permanent winter

  • @JoejjaLegoman it will become huge before this though. Not sure if it will definitely reach our orbit but it will fry everything for sure.

  • Lets compare the atom collisons with rock collisons

When atoms collide they form molecules

when rocks in space collide they form planets

  • Then we will live on the moons of Jupiter they will be the new habitable zone :P

  • What about all the energy thats absorbed by the sun? Electromagnetic-waves from all other matter combining their intensities at every point of space (virtual pair's) forming the wave-medium space energy/density. Prehaps this is why the suns hotter at the corona! Spherical positron in-waves from all other matter forming+/-breaking (creation+/-annihilation) at every point of space forms square of the in-wave amplitude!,. . . "Zap, its an electric sun."

  • so it's like an erection ..... it starts small than gets bigger and after awhile it blows up and goes away.

  • You are fucking kidding me!!

  • Chuck Norris will be lonely...

  • Well, hopefully we'll have colonized planets beyond our solar system by then. I'm sure it'll be sad to see the homeworld go though.

  • All these retarded fucking people saying but I thought the sun couldn't explode and there's a future and were gonna go to mars nope we gonna die! durr and how does NASA know this gonna happen are you FUCKING kidding me dumb asses!!!!! it's past events DUMB FUCKS!!!!!!

  • more then 3/4th of our population would die taking 200 trillion to even get a quarter to mar and another 175trillion for breathing and we should just kill our selfsame by then you would die any ways by puncture of the lungs

  • lets go to mars

  • 5 billion years from now:

"Pack yo shit kids. We goin to MARS."

  • MARS: forever alone.

  • guys our earth might not be engulfed if the orbit widens it wont be engulfed but it will still effect our earth and it will be doomed

  • I like how it stops swallowing planets after Earth..

  • @GoGoBanANNAs it's kind of ironic.but maybe we won't live in Earth when this day comes.

  • hopefully in 25 billion years, we'll have had the technology to go visit planets away from the sun's blast and size area

  • Well,if The Sun wil go out for a sekond,The Planet X will go in The Sun's place.

    Off course,nobody will survive.

But I'm not worried about thai because there are many problems for me to solve now and I will die before.

  • @optionsbsm i dont know the fuck your talking about

  • lol when the sun die we die there is no fkin future retarded noobs

  • yeah and why arent we funding NASA?

  • that one way of getting out of my homework

  • @TheJr2106 lolololol

  • @KimChoJapFan Ok? I guess thats what is going to happen in your imagination but thats a long time from now lol

  • Jeese u guys in the comments... Moving to mars wont save your ass sorry. The suns radiation while getting bigger and the amount of plasma and heat its giving off would totally fry Mars.... Were talking about like 1000f And if that dosen't get you the giant solar flares that would make every thing electronic explode would give you equal to the amount of radiation 400 nuclear bombs would give off together. Theres no way Mars could save you... Maybe one of the Kepler planets though.

  • Comment removed

  • @april76301 thats not good because after the sun vanishes we wont get any heat and the planet that survive will get cold and cold and cold until the planets freeze even your rocket and gear and your body.after your frozen your brainfreezed and then dead.its gonna be the same as the remaining planet

  • me:).....(1 minute later..) ..O.O

  • when the world ends all children will be evacuated to mars :D

  • @x3MyMyLovesYoux3 The children will still die at mars, the temperature when the sun explodes when it reaches earth will heat Mars to a blistering heat, and release too much radiation to keep the kids alive. By the time the sun cools to a white dwarf, it will reach temperatures near -200 degrees centigrade, a temperature cold enough to make liquid nitrogen solid.

That's what I imagine would happen...

  • im moving to mars. :]

  • The hypothesis of this is based on the fact our star is not big enough to go nova.

  • Sorry but how do we know for sure this will happen some stars implode in on themselves

  • @RRReid294 I think the point is they first expand before imploding.

  • @FantasticBob7000

i know that but we can't predict by how much it will expand by, this is merely a theory

  • Thank god i wont even be dusty shit by then.

  • i thought the sun couldn't do that because it doesn't have enough mass

  • Comment removed

  • The quran told Us about This 1400 Years Ago :)

  • @KINGOFDARKNESS48 lol moron , the kuran told you that the star is a lamp, not a sun.

god is a hoax grow up and dont come to scientific channels and troll about your stupid religion

  • @Atheist961 LOL :S

  • I hate when that happens.

  • /watch?v=AjZ6bvCT4Fk&feature=colike

  • well at least i wont be alive in a billion years :D

  • chuck norris will remain likes nothing happen's...

  • @AlphaRed5 maybe the 2012 movie isnt as bad as one would think

  • Lots of sun screen.

  • jada pad ke pajal ho gaya hai kya ? surya dev tujhe jala ke rakh kar denge...bewakoof!

  • the sun is goning to become be a black whole

  • @MAINMARK0123 no those are for the really large mass such as Betelgeuse or VY canis majoris

  • We would to live space houses away from the Sun. Who know what will happen, Just enjoy what you got now.

  • Because much of the mass of the sun leaves, the orbits would become larger because of less gravity. However, it would still engulf earth before it's orbit enlarges. Wouldn't worry about that though. The sun will grow 10% brighter within the next billion years, vaporizing water and ending all ambient life on earth.

  • hello, iv'e been looking for WakaFlockaFlame251's for going on 3 days now, im running low on gatorade and doritos. hopefully i can find the comment in time..

  • Man, what if we all just... started bodybuilding like crazy? We'd be all buff, get married to buff partners and give birth to buff children, who in turn, will give birth to a whole buff generation. Generation M (Muscle) will give rise to buffer & buffer generations. Then we started building these massive, massive oars, so long they would exceed the Earth's atmosphere. When the sun starts expanding, everyone on Earth just starts rowing. Real strong, synchronized rowing through the aether of space

  • Actually nothing is going 'dramatically wrong' with the sun, its just leaving the main sequence. Everything that begins..ends.

  • i will survive

  • @danorambo hahahaha me too

  • @danorambo Me:Only Chuck Norris will survive and he will be the only "Thing" (not human Obviously THING) Able to repopulate the earth by just roundhouse kicking the air, and then all of a sudden BAM another 7 billion people and a cure for aids is created....And that Kids is the Story of how The world will survive. Any questions??

Random: I Heard Chuck Norris' tricks aren't real and tha-

Me: *PULLS GUN OUT AND SHOOTS THE KID IN THE FACE* NO.......NOOOOO......BAD....BAD BOY.....NEVER.

  • Mars: Forever Alone.

  • Don't trust man, no one knows except God Almighty who created the Universe.

  • @neyugnyrad fuck you.WE DONT NEED your ''GOD'' bullshit why are you even watching this video?(oh and another question if god created the universe what creatod god?

  • @sitejs123 At first I thought he was a troll, then I went to his channel. >.> Nope, he's crazy.

  • I seen this on H2 will happen in 5 million years.

  • @The2008Flame more like 100'000

  • 5 Billion, 5 million is too short of a time

  • @beajrstar god will also never allow aids, poverty, sickness and death.....fuckin moron.

  • That's not true, God will never do that. Scientists just make it up to scare children to change their attitude

  • @beajrstar Actually it is true and you're probly a scared little kid and that's what your mom told you.

  • If that happens, what will happen from those other survived planets( Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune and Pluto)?

  • @MrLeonvorg and don forget the asteroid belts and moons too

  • its actually theorized the planets mercury Venus and earth would still exist, just devoid of life

  • @thomassjohn ikr I have no idea why I am watching this.... Next up for me, another fake 2012 video

  • just like the liviaevans said... i believe this more than 2012 shit

  • i believe this more then the 2012 shit.

well, to be honest, because this one destroys the earth in 5 billions years from now

and 21 dec 2012 is in 9 months so yeahh.

  • im in the weird part of youtube.... again

  • only the gas giants will be left

  • Sorry for the suckers who will b here n 4 billion yrs

  • well at least we don't have to worry about this for awhile

  • Oh lord, why do I still watch these, if it scares the crap out of me?

  • We will destroy the earth if we continue to live like we do. for sure the sun will die in billions of years and the earth will be pushed away from it .. but the human being will die way before that in my opinion.

  • Comment removed

  • this is so long in the future if we or somthing else dosent kill us by then we'll either go to a different planet in a very long spaceship ride or do what we seem to always do when we see impending doom, wait it out and see what happends

  • Mars will not be a former planet it just wouldn't be the same as today

  • actually.......all humanity will already be dead becuase of the swelling and the puffing......so.....we're screwed

  • Yes This is True and Yes we are Going to freeze to death and Yes we are going to die, but thats not in a few billion years from now

  • theres no sun, no day and no warmth wich means arctic cold. and even worse. duhhh!

  • DUDE, this sun isnt alive

  • the moon will die to

  • i sort of bealieve it becase when i look at the sun it looks like the sun is geting huger

  • @kurzrock97 Please tell me you're joking, the sun isn't expanding at the moment, only when it's hydrogen supply begins to run out.

  • i still dont get it

  • Mars, forever alone

  • @hackerhell900 The sun's mass would actually decrease after expansion, and so the orbits of the planets would increase in radius.

  • would we freeze to death after that?

  • @WakaFlockaFlame251 no the sun would destroy the earth.

  • @sitejs123 On H2 they said as soon as it eats venus we will already be roasted.

  • i want to live in moon

    but moon is still alive

  • Notice how no galaxy center has light has in there. It's pushes away as magnetic lines of force made to form an ionosphere/ solarsphere squeeze so tight that the K-Meson particles will be polarized in those lines of force, preventing atomic thermal entropy.

  • Fuck earth, im packing my bags and going to mars!

  • @backstabber1574 haha Mars lost all inhabitability 238,000 years ago.

  • @backstabber1574 and the oxygen is less than Earth too hahaha mostly CO2 tere

  • When the sun expands to that size i dont think those planets shown will stay in their orbit.

  • @prawntheman The mass of the sun never changes. As the sun increases in size, it becomes less dense. Therefor, the gravity of other planets isn't affected.

  • @hackerhell900 Absolutely wrong. The sun looses mass for every joule of energy it emits, E=MC2.

  • @prawntheman they will all probably move closer to the dwarf sun and jupiter and saturn will be near the earth's orbit, they may even collide.

  • @prawntheman yes, you are right, the radius of the planet's orbit will increase since the mass of sun decrease.

  • @prawntheman since the sun will keep roughtly the same mass, i dont see why they wouldnt

  • @prawntheman Correct. they will be pushed off course. further and further until they are knocked out of orbit when the sun explodes. Mercury will be destroyed completely, Venus will hit earth and be destroyed, Earth will get 2 more moons, causing any remaining water to become severely unstable, and earth will somehow be pulled into a new sun's orbit, and life may yet return.

  • @RyoPotter Yup, as our sun looses mass, earths orbit will widen. But we got probably one to three billion years before that happens. I would like to think we will have mastered interstellar travel by then. Betting that our planet lands in a stable orbit AND in the habital zone of another star seems like an epic long shot. Kinda like winning all the lotteries in the world, on the same day.

  • @Infrared63 I'm not saying earth will become habitable again. Besides, it is likely that the earth will have no life in it by the time the sun dies.

  • Fake

  • im watching in 2013 :3

  • @Ibrahims111123 This is nothing to do with 2012 :P

  • By that point we can find a new home. :/

  • @TVsmasher66 That would be in 7 billion years from now on...

  • we must spend all our time NOW to find alternatives to planet earth

  • @kwisi we are running out of time! only a few billion years left ! OH NO

  • @tikterd12345 May in the end we will be happy about every second we should have invested in researching.

  • @helmymohammed1 TELL ME ABOUT IT

  • @helmymohammed1 YUP[

  • lol give that sun some gas

  • Mars gon take an arrow to the knee when that blackhole forms ;)

  • Oh cmon. If the Sun dies, everything dies. Anti-supernova stuff?! WTH is that? Can you even imagine how this may look like? And how do you know that humans even live in year 5002012?

  • @thekill761

There are plenty of theories about rejuvenating the sun, making it more efficient, etc. Like you said, we don't know what will happen five billion years from now, but it's entirely feasible we can find a way to keep the sun going as long as we want. You and me, we're communicating instantly across distances that would have taken ancient people months and years to travel. You think those guys could have imagined what our internet would have looked like?

  • agree man 5 billions human are super intelligent and will start making some anti-supernova stuff

  • The narrator says something has gone dramatically wrong with the sun. Actually, that statement is incorrect. Nothing is wrong when the sun goes away. The event is anticipated and is natural. Nothing wrong about that.

  • Mars has just lucky.

  • LISTEN SCIENCE IS LYING TO ALL OF YOU THE EARTH DOES NOT MOVE AT ALL EVEN YOU YOURSELVES CAN NOTICE THIS. BUT THE SUN WAS MADE BY GOD TO SERVE THE EARTH. WHAT SCIENCE IS SAYING IS LIKE THE SUN IS OUR GOD AND WE SERVE IT BY GOING AROUND IT. LOOK OUTSIDE AND SEE THE SUN RISING AND PRAISE GOD WHO MADE THE SUN. THE SUN WILL NOT DIE WHEN JESUS WILL RETURN THE SUN WILL BE USELESS BECAUSE HIS LIGHT IS MUCH BRIGHTER THAN THE SUN THESE ARE THE TIMES OF DECEPTIONS SPOKEN OF BY THE SAINTS OF OLD

  • @thebatman175 I think you forgot Caps Lock on.

  • @thebatman175 Wow are you 10? Kids don't need to be using the internet. Go pray to Jeebus you stupid kid.

  • @thebatman175 Oh, you! :D

You religious kooks are so fun to watch.

  • @thebatman175 keep religon out of science

  • @thebatman175 I'm pretty sure this guy is trolling or just ignorant. Maybe your religion is for those who are afraid to die, so you created a "heaven" and "hell" some kind of afterlife.

  • @thebatman175 Religion... lol.

  • @thebatman175 u sir, are the master of trolls

  • @thebatman175 you know, people gave up that whole "the Sun revolves around the Earth" idea about 400-500 years ago

  • @thebatman175 I think you've been taking your mythology class too seriously.

  • meh im dead anyways

  • We hope that humanity will have ventured to a safe place by then, but its anyone's guess at this point what will happen by then.

  • Clearly, God is punishing the solar system for not voting Republican.

  • @gamesDAMNED ......

  • @gamesDAMNED Many democrats are religious too, and use their religiosity as their justification to use offensive force against others. They may dress it up, as all socialists do, as for the betterment of mankind, but the desire for progress does not rely on Machiavellian strategies, secular or religiously based.

  • @toolkien Oh, yeah, I'm sure that's true. We must be skeptical of all authority figures, especially politicians. Gollum A, meet Gollum B.

  • Kepler 22b :the 2 earth.... But bigger

  • The sun needs weight watchers and a diet. No more comets and asteroids for you, sun!

  • @spacegeek25 yea and no more helium to make you that big lol i know i killed it

  • Can we all move to my favorite planet Jupiter even if its just a GIANT ball of gas? (What the FUCK am I talking about?!)

  • noooo es asi estudios actualizados de la nasa dice que el sol se comera a venus y a mercrio la tierra se salva por un pelo xD

  • Wouldn't the other planets just drift off into space because they would be no gravitation from the sun to keep them in orbit ?

  • that day im staying home, sooorry

  • Just I'm wondering who truly came up with that stupid idea. What will make sun to expand?

  • @Levon9404 Thats what you call nature -.-
