@KayKay130x It's actually true, our sun is like other stars, has same processes etc. and it actually gets 10% brighter every billion years, gradually all the time, even today. In 1 billion years it will be 80 degrees warmer, about 8 degrees warmer every 100 million years. It's true, it's just like any other star.

Because much of the mass of the sun leaves, the orbits would become larger because of less gravity. However, it would still engulf earth before it's orbit enlarges. Wouldn't worry about that though. The sun will grow 10% brighter within the next billion years, vaporizing water and ending all ambient life on earth.
