I want to use my OmniControl with my normal iMac Audio-Out and use the integrated Interface as my monitor. The Interface doenst shows up in my Audio-Midi-Setup, so i can create a new device, which i'd select in Traktor Pro. I tried several possibilities, but it doesnt work. i'd look for any changes that i made since the last working setup. that's most likely what the problem is.

@DrFunk7777 Thanks for getting back at me, The only changes I made was to play with the audio routing set up which always confuses me because your video tutorial shows channels 1,2,3,4 and mine show 0,1,2,3 so I just play with that until it works other than that no changes have been made. Do you think this is the a traktor issue or the numark stealth?

Basically I am having a nightmare with this set up, i've got windows vista and traktor 3 le with an omni control. I have my logitech z4 speakers and a pair of numark headphones. I was told i need to put the speakers through the outputs on the back of the controller but i'm sill having trouble even with the sound coming out of the speakers through the controller, let alone through the headphones too.... any ideas?

i think you might need to adjust the latency and allow it a little more time. Sometimes if it's set too fast, you might get a dropout here and there. NOT GOOD!

I'd LOVE to get a comparable controller, but the competition is way too expensive.

now, i just bought an omni control

i installed the drivers and the traktor LE edition.

but when im having a problem to set up the outputs.

when i put the audio device to be the omni control asio driver, i just can hear the sound from the omni headphones!

and whn i change it to the laptop soundcard, i can only hear the sound on the laptop speakers, without being able to hear the cues.

the tks file for traktor 3 from numark's webiste. you need the tks filke named tks34!!! All controls are now working but the external sound is terrible any ideas?

i haven't tried it myself, I'm still searching for a controller, but Traktor 3 LE itself is compatible with XP SP2.

To make sure it works, download a demo and check. If you cannot find a demo, you should download it with torrents. I think it should work.

I got my Numark yesterday but i have a problem with the sound.

I have Logitech speakers and they're connected to my computer and not the Omni beacuse its a green, black and orange plugin and in the omni it doesnt fit so and ofc i want to have the CUE in my headphones wich are connected to the omni and the main sound out from the logitech speakers but i cant choose TWO different Soundcards in Traktor (For the logitech speakers and the omni card for my headset). How shall i do?

hey when i use my omni control with my laptop, it skips. everything will be playing fine, and then the music will skip like a CD would. the problem does not lie with my music files, they are flawless. what's strange is that when connected to my desktop the skipping problem is nonexistent.. any ideas why it's skipping?

You've answered your own question! It works on your desktop but not your laptop - the problem is with your laptop!

Make sure you have the laptop is powerful enough, that it's not overloaded with background apps like anti-virus, firewall etc. and that the settings are configured for use with audio. You can find this info on the web.

Some music bought from itunes is copy protected and won't play. You need to convert them to MP3. If you have them burned to a CD, import them from there.

hey does this work with traktor pro, specifically the loop button. does it loop other than "4" or does it have LE pre-programmed "4" in the loop. I just bought the Total Control w/ Dj I/O and i can't do anything in Traktor Pro. Should i get this and sell my Total Control back, or at least trade it?

You can preset the looping in your preferences under "Midi Mapping". It's automatically set to 4, but I changed mine to 16 and have a loop resize on my hotkeys.

Hello DrFunk, I just bought a Numarc Omini Controller after reviewing your last few videos. The Numarc OMINI Midi Controll is pretty good. However; the traktor 3LE software came with it not as great as NUMARK CUE 5. Is it possible to get this OMINI controll get it works with NUMARC CUE 5 software?? Is there any MAPS available on internet to download? I know You are working on a Midi map for this, How is it going Sofar with it? Let me know once you done making it. Thanks.

Hey fella i bought this piece of kit but cant seem to map it with Traktor 3 or pro. The file to map T3 on the numark site doesnt work. Does this mixer only work with the the software provided?? If so i will be a shame because i really like it but the T3 LE is v limited and for this reason i will be returning it!

What issues are you having?

before we get into it, make sure you go into options and pick INTERNAL mixer and setup the outputs to 3&4 and then 1&2. Should be all set after that.

i have a bcd3000 by behringer & im using with win xp sp2 & tractor LE. Whem im performing live the music just cuts out like every hour - im pretty sure its the bcd driver crashing but i dont have the time to investigate it again and again after already disabling lots of things. Does this unit have any prolems with freezing etc or is it stable? Im considering getting an external soundcard and seperate midi controller but would prefer all in one reliable solution. please help! thanks

You do NOT need a second audio card.

This is like having a Totaol Control and a DJIO built into the same unit.

Everything you need is all in the same box.

No recording that i see on my current version of Traktor 3 LE. I'm in the middle of seeing if i can MAP the Omni for my version of CUE....which has the ability to record.

great question. It really depends on what type of DJ you are. They are two totally different types of software.

Traktor is traditional....A and B deck.

Mixmeister is timeline...up to an 8 track view and you can preview a mix that won't actually happen for like...a half an hour. Can't do that with a traditional software.

Also, the Omni is midi control AND audio. Plus one for the Omni.

Both softwares have free trials. Download em both. See which one fits u better.

Hey, can you connect external speaker to it sp you can play loud? And is it good at scratching?

of course you can! hell...you can connect an iPod to an external speaker and make it loud. In other words, if it's got audio outputs...that's what you're supposed to do.

Now...you can scratch with it, absolutely. It's all in the hands of the scratcher. I'll see if i can post or find some vids of it in action for you.

There is a scratch mode button for each deck. The response is really good actually, obviously you need to know how to scratch to get decent results. I really recommend this unit, it's perfect for DJ mixing, and is really sturdy as DrFunk says!

Appreciate it mate. I found a couple on forums but they were mapped all wrong. It seems Numark and Traktor haven't actually made one yet which is pretty shoddy!
