It took the next guild (Method) two more weeks to kill it. Again, they had close to 500 attempts (as stated by them). Nef heroic also took over a month, so did Al'akir and Sinestra. I wish blizzard put that much effort into every raid as they did with ulduar, tbh. I preffered those triggered hard modes (they actually changed boss mechanics abit, sometimes making for a wholly different fight) rather than splitting instances into heroic/normal versions, it was so much fun; imo. Ulduar was one of the most epic raids to date, and certainly the best one in wotlk - t7 content was too easy, and boring, Toc was just pure shit, and Icc well wasn't half bad but not quite as good.

I wouldnt say Ulduar is the hardest, but it's sure one of the best, there is some raids which is known to be harder than Ulduar, like AQ 40 and Naxx 40. Ulduar have some very unique boss encounters and the whole instance was amazing. Defiently the best Raid blizzard made in Wotlk. Hope the new old god in Cataclysm will be as epic as Yogg-saron or even more. Looking forward to it.

@horseman217 Eh, I disagree actually. I think Naxx 40 was the second hardest raid in all of WoW. Sure, Naxx was after AQ 40, but I have never fought any harder set of bosses that AQ had to offer. I even believe that there will never be a harder boss then the Twin Emps. I remember them one shotting our tanks, they were fucking insane. And back then Blizz didn't bring down the nerf bat on them at all. Tough shit. Don't get me wrong, naxx 40 was very difficult, but AQ was a legend...

and stars killed him at 19:21...

so if the patch was released at he same time for them as for ensidia, then stars would have gotten the kill before ensidia with 28 min difference

@Zjamu1234 I think a cool order for raids would have been: Naxx - Ulduar - Old Kingdom raid with Anub as end boss (that retreats instead of dying)- ICC (with these changes: Saurfang is defeated and then manages to to fight the LK's will enough to help the group, you get a permanent in-raid "vampiric-buff" by defeating the Queen and drinking her blood, Anub appears in LK phase 5 to help his comrade and finally, after all is done, Bolvar as the new LK releases Saurfang from his servitude).

To all those of you that say 'sick dps,' although eoy is very good indeed, this is yogg with 4 keepers up. The damage/health buff is insane. This is why you see kungen doing mutiple 11k shield slam crits-shield block may be up to cap shield slam damage at this point, but he's in mostly naxx gear. The help of the 4 keepers is a godsend when you're geared like we were back here..
