This comment was posted by MarsJenkar on Encubed's other video of this song. It should belong on this one as well. "OK, after a bit of research, a complete list of songs they sang in the medley: "Tequila Sunrise", the Eagles "Summer of '69", Bryan Adams "One Hand in My Pocket", Alanis Morissette "Sundown", Gordon Lightfoot "Closing Time", Semisonic "Hey Jude", the Beatles "King of Spain", Moxy Fruvous"
@sierrakennedy Having seen several videos, I'd say they're coming up with some as they go. They usually have a few standards they try to slip in, including Tequila Sunrise (or You've Got a Friend), One Hand In My Pocket, and (of course) Hey Jude. The Ann Arbor video clearly shows Jonathan Coulton burst out laughing at some of the choices. Admittedly, they are very funny.

Jonathan Coulton is not only one of the smartest musicians, but also one of the funniest people out there.

Does he always get distracted when he performs this? When I saw him, I think he ended up in Hey Jude.

If by distracted you mean 'ends with a totally awesome medley of classic soft rock songs', then yes, most of the time he does.

That makes sense. He does enjoy doing covers.

@Vadergeek He's "soft rocking" the audience. Get it?
