I think this guy is doing the right thing to stand against the lawlessness behavior that is going on with today's generation, but he is speaking too direct to the crowd assuming that everyone there is a bad person and deserves hell; there may be people there that love God and are probably leading a better life than the speaker. A person can know the Bible is God's Word by first examining the claims of Scripture, considering the evidence for those claims, and then personally accepting the challenge of Scripture to "taste and see" if these things be true. The psalmist gave the following challenge.
O taste and see that the Lord is good; how blessed is the one who takes refuge in him (Psalm 34:8).
Jesus provoked the crowd too...when He told them that they followed Him because He gave them to eat! He pissed most of them off and they left, and He didn't apologize to them for it. Jesus was perfect...He told people what they needed to hear not what they liked to hear. This guy has his rough edges, but we have to commend him for his bravery, and cursing at him only shows that you yourself are not on God's side because the Bible says that those that curse will not enter the Kingdom of Heaven
