I think the new Defy looks great. I'd have to get the alum version though. I'm 250lbs right now and even if I got down to the 220s I'd still be too heavy for a carbon fiber bike. I'll stick to my Giant TCX2 and Surly LHT for another year. Then maybe ill take the plunge on a defy with the 105 set. I luv Giant bikes!
