Someone has got to just give Gilliam a blank check to make an epic. Can't one of those rich corporate ceo's just admit that they make more money than they will ever be able to reasonably spend, and at least invest a few billion into a project with a little aesthetic merit?

i hate terry gilliam! he is to werid and creative. why cant he do something normal? why does it always have to be something NObody ever does. that way he would get alot more money
"The Crimson Permanent Assurance" segment was filmed as if it were a completely separate project. Terry Gilliam got his own soundstage, crew and cast. This segment continued to expand because, according to Gilliam, nobody told him to stop.
Yes, he was the one who yelled "Sh-t" and jumped out of the window. He also pulled a sword from his attache case and issued orders to the board members before the scene ended.
I love this sketch , especially when the Crimson Permanent Assurance is "sailing" through the destroyed ruins of the financial capital! So surreal, yet a work of genius.
@JoTheSick - REALLY close, but technically not accurate. He was born in America in 1940, obtained dual citizenship in 1968, and renounced American citizenship in 2006 in protest against George Bush.
As punishment, he's only allowed to spend 30 days a year in the US (normally, Brits can spend 90 days with a proper visa). Our loss more than his, I think.
EA deserve for that kind of attack. The arrogant, they don't give a shit about needs of their customers. About support and so on. "Come on boys! ATTACK!"
Only the Brits would make something as ludicrous as a building that sales across the land :P An amazing short movie and I love the music score to this too, shame it's not available to buy. Terry sure is a great movie maker.
What an epic masterpiece!!!!

It's fun to charter an accountant
And sail the wide accountancy,
To find, explore the funds offshore
And skirt the shoals of bankruptcy!
It can be manly in insurance.
We'll up your premium semi-annually.
It's all tax deductible.
We're fairly incorruptible,
We're sailing on the wide accountancy!

Thing is, only Gilliam was actually involved with this one, and he directed

It is matt frewer - he must have reminded me of the guy who played Face in A-Team when I typed that first comment.

That's Matt Frewer, he also stars in Eureka, where he plays the character of the hunter, but he didn't appear on A-Team.
