I now have a Hauppauge HD PVR, but no video editing software with which to use it.

@Nangbaby the Game Bridge, is it that wire that lets you connect the psp to a tv? Sorry I barely know anything about psp accesories.

@metalmariomix100 Sorry about the delay. A GameBridge is a device which allows you to record from RCA jacks or S-Video in (near) real time, which makes it good for recording game videos...or it least was good before the high definition days...Nevertheless for 16-bit systems, this is ideal at capturing video and audio, especially the SNES sound that emulators sometimes don't get right.

If you do plan on playing extended gameplays and recording them, I would strongly recommend a splitter.

That's assuming you can rapid fire quickly enough to make a difference (as you can see, I can't). Besides, when you're dodging stuff it's easier to charge and fire rather than to keep pressing the button to fire.

Otherwise, so much better than the actual intro stage just from some music changes and simple sound effects (especially Zero's buster charge; Why just have the shot and him zoom right in? Why?!)

@Godzillafan709 I don't think there will ever be a remake of X2 because of this game's extremely low sales. However, the future release of X9 seems plausible since MM9 and MM10 were much more successful.

yeah you're right actually, it wasn't until megaman 3 on the nes that he started appearing as 'squat' on the cover art. So maybe he should be less vertically challenged; and the graphics in general are pretty buff...

I like this game alot. But I think the fact that you are able to hurt vile in this mode takes something away. vile shouldbe able to kick your ass six ways from sunday.

I agree that X hurting Vile takes away from the story, although the dialogue makes it sound as though Vile let X win. I suppose the player gets Vile Mode to make up for this change.

I don't even have a PSP, but that's all fine and good considering I'm kind of biased against rehashes of games. Usually I consider sound upgrades to be the only good things (such as here, where they reused the sound effects from X7 and X8).

I do like the music remixes made for Maverick Hunter X, but it's cool that you put in the original music instead.

I have to admit that the voices are cool, though. Much better than X4 or X7. The 3D graphics are also nice, but I don't like how gameplay was altered. That's the main thing I always hate about rehashes; they tend to either add new features that I didn't find necessary or dumb the games down.

I really don't hate all the remixes, just most of them. I think the intro stage remix is okay, and the Sigma Palace remixes are awesome, but for the eight Maverick stages they're far too techno/trance for my tastes.

I also miss the tunes that got taken out, such as any of the ending themes.
