  • does the hp compaq l2105tm works for mac?

  • 3d it says 3d as a main key factor sticker on the box

  • @rockkilla483 Have you tried the 3d? Or do you know of any links to its 3d capabilities?

  • @Somethinsexy327 Umm the only thing 3d that i know of is right here on youtube other than that youll need a 3dVideo card Nvidia is what people say is legit AMD/ATI Is what i use..

  • can this work on a mac

  • Its on sale newegg right now hurry!

  • I just bought two from newegg 285.02 $ each out the door after an HP Rep said I could use dual these with win 7 pro 64 .

  • Did I fall asleep for a decade or two? Where did all this stuff come from? I remember the Microsoft Surface controller a couple of years ago and now you can get a multi-touch monitor from Dell for £299? I got a shitty 22" HD Fujitsu Siemens, core2duo e7400 and I feel like I'm living in the eighties looking at things like this!!!!!

  • @Macssacre No, it won't work with OSX because OSX sucks. :P

  • Will this work if I hook it up to OSX dont care about multi touch one finger is what i need it for.

  • @Macssacre No :P

  • Is this better than Dell SX2210T?

  • where do I buy this? I've searched for it a while now but I can't find it :( only available in the US?

  • You need to contact HP directly to purchase this monitor and to find out where it's sold. That's one of the biggest let-downs for me. I wish it was easier to get a hold of. I had a friend buy one and he LOVES it. So contact HP directly.

  • I was able to purchase one like any other product on HPs business site

  • @matrix86 apparently you haven't heard of google or hp.com

  • @aeonjoey Actually I had, and believe me I checked, but Google only showed reviews of it and the HP site was a pain to navigate to actually find where to order it online. All it ever showed was a phone number to call and order it. But about a week later after looking again, I found it. So all is well, lol.

  • Is this thing pressure sensitive? I'm considering using one as a sort of "poor mans" Cintiq. I'd love to see someone using painter or PS on one of these.

  • Did you need to install an special software to get Google earth zooming in and out with multi touch? I'm running Google earth on windows 7 and multi touch behaves in unpredictable fashion. it works fine in windows photo viewer though... Thanks

  • It is optical, and the stylus is OK. I love the monitor though...

    Rick

  • Hey Rickrat, how is the stylus for this computer? I heard that this monitor works by the shadow created by our fingers on the screen. Is this True? Or is this monitor a resistive or capacative screen?

Also i was wondering is this just a hard stylus? or is it digitized? So for example if we use the stylus and put our wrist on the screen will it make marks and inputs on the screen?

  • @ProfessorMike The whole shadow thing is for people who use a small box and a $10 webcam. (like I did). It worked, but nothing I'd use. But I just ordered this monitor today. Coming in 2 days.

  • Haha yeah i realized this is optical touchscreen and how it works now. So I figure if I used the stylus that came with the monitor, it would just be a simple hard stylus that if you put your wrist on the screen while using the stylus there will be mark made on the screen then?

  • So it doesn't work for OS X

  • it does not require software for windows 7. It does come with a disc for other operating systems.

  • Does it come with a driver for Mac OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard?

  • No, it's Windows only! you only get a multi-touch mouse with OS X... :(

  • It is glossy so to speak. it has a reflective layer that helps the infrared of the touch portion. It's a good monitor and worth the price.

  • THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!! I've been seriously considering buying this, but am always weary being one of the first people to buy something I haven't even seen in action. I'll hopefully be buying this sometimes after Christmas (i'm asking for "money only" for Christmas, lol).

Hopefully someone will buy it before I do and put up a review about it. It took me long enough just to find a site that sells it.

  • is the monitor glossy display? does it come with software support it.

  • Windows 7 is just amazing!

Touch Screens were meant to be large than a phone display!

This is a revolution in personal computing!
