I wish I could find the full length version, my dad had it on a 78 but they have long since gone :( July 6, 1937, "Sing, Sing, Sing" was recorded in Hollywood with Benny Goodman on clarinet; Harry James, Ziggy Elman, and Chris Griffin on trumpets; Red Ballard and Murray McEachern on trombones; Hymie Schertzer and George Koenig on alto saxophones; Art Rollini and Vido Musso on tenor saxophone; Jess Stacy on piano; Allan Reuss on guitar; Harry Goodman on bass; and Gene Krupa on drums.
We can always use the different styles that Benny and Gene did thru the years on Sing Sing Sing. Havnt heard this one in years,,,Surely someoine has the one from 1938 Carnegie Halls Concert....Oh would I love to hear this performance once again.
I think this is a little too fast based on the other time they did it.....

Este tema fue uno de los que BENNY GOODMAN incluyó en su famoso concierto de 1938 en el CARNEGIE HALL. Ver BENNY GOODMAN, CARNEGIE HALL

This is my least favorite of all the ones I own, but it's from an album called "Benny Goodman's Greatest Hit's," originally released in 1966.

The '38 Carnegie Hall Concert in it's entirety is out on CD. Nothing beats the version they did that night.
