  • Sorry to be so late in replying to this comment, aOKlady; I don't check my Gmail often enough. No, I don't have any useful video or photos of the Crafts Inn. It looked normal enough a day or two after Irene, but I heard their basement was flooded and a lot of basement and perhaps first-floor furniture and stuff was out on the lawn to dry or be thrown out.

  • Do you have any video or photos of the Crafts Inn? I'm from VT and over 20 years ago I bought a timeshare at Crafts Inn. I know they suffered severe damage from Irene, but I have not seen it. I live in OK now, but I was in Killington the day before Irene hit. Unbelievable damage. I was in VT during Hurricane Andrew; it was bad, but not like this.

  • I have a house in Whitingham and used to go through wilmington all of the time and now to see it destroyed is just horrfiying where my house is the road is washed away completely i cant even go up to see the damage

  • Regarding Ivana Taseva, who died in the flood, her name had not been made public at the time I posted this video. Otherwise I most certainly would have mentioned it. Indeed, may she rest in peace, and may her family in Macedonia find healing.

  • We drove through Wilmington many times, coming from Maine to Bennington while our son was a student there. How sad. Our thoughts are with all as recovery begins.

  • The girl that died is Ivana Taseva may she rest in peace... :(

  • Thanks for posting this. As a Wilmington native, my heart breaks for my old home town. The town will never look the same. So much damage. Best wishes to the town and it's residents as they try to recover from this.

  • Many fond memories of Wilmington. Giant blueberry muffins at Dot's, buying my herbs wholesale at Clara Simpla, The Raven's Brew coffee shop, the book store, all the cool little shops on 100. Pancho's Wreck. I have photos of all the art bears placed throughout the town.

  • Wow! Thank goodness you're both OK. Looks like the dogs were having fun, though!

  • Omg this is horrible. Dots , the police station, hardware store and everything are ruined o gosh Poor wilmington
