Ford Focus Review

I have a 09 focus, I have had nothing but Ford's since I could drive and let me tell you, I found out that Ford doesn't give a crap about you at all. My focus is at 36,000 miles getting ready for its third set of tires, sync, pcm, motor mounts all replaced so many more problems with this thing it has totally turned me off to Ford. They won't even give me a good trade in because its in there system as a problem. WTF!

i like how he emphasizes the word "adequate"....like someone eating a sandwich and saying "mmmmmm....this is not the BEST sandwich i ever had!". American car co.s need to do a better job with transmissions....proper gearing and torque converter performance does WONDERS for performance AND economy. Listen to the rpm drop between gears...very inefficient. 1st should be VERY low, to get the car rolling with little gas...instead, they make it long for "low revs"...makes no sense.

Renting one right now, and I'm impressed. Great ride and comfortable seats. I love it that I can just plug in my ipod and it displays all my folders and titles of music right on the dash. I'm not in a market for a car right now, but will consider Ford when I'm ready for a new one.

the reason =

1 - no have 2 amber yellow lights on the taillights for turning sign

2 - wrong gas in hole on the right side

3 - front grilled is not enough cooler to help the motor more cooler

I have a 2002 Focus (euro model) and I've had enough weird experiences with it when it rains and too many trips to the repair and this one is American? Who in the hell would trust it? Not me.

I drive an 09 Vista Blue SES Sedan, and its such a cool little car. I don't care if the euro version looks better, I like how sharp my car looks and its a great little car.

I move cars for Hertz, so I get to drive all makes and models. The Focus blows away the competition including class leaders, Civic and Corolla.

The seats are better designed and are much more comfortable. Overall the interior is superior to the foreign makes.

The 2.0 will outrun the Corolla and Civic too...been there, done that!

You can argue all you want which is best, I have the luxury of driving them all.

Before plunking down the cash for a foreign job check out the Focus!

I really like this car. It's weird seeing the amazing fuel economy! I have an SVT Focus and a drinks fuel like a bigger motor :( and it only comes with 30 more hp than this one

Independent studies show that Ford quality either matches or exceeds Honda and Toyota. Toyota's quality has dropped significantly the last several years. There's a plethora of cheap, hard plastic used throughout the latest Corolla and Yaris. I recently did a test drive in the Fiesta subcompact and was pleasantly surprised by the extremely high quality interior. The whole dash is a nice soft touch material. Every piece of plastic inside felt very high quality. This is very refreshing!

Dude you make me laugh! Ford and the rest of the American manufacturers have been saying that since I can remember!

The truth is that FORD and Chevy are the only good American cars, and they are still way behind Japanese cars!

Although they tried to bring Toyota down with some gas pedal conspiracy... Toyota cars still sell strong!

Remember the people are not stupid! NO mater how you try to advertise the American cars, we know that the are not as good as Toyota, Honda or Nissan!

Knock on Wood, 26K so far not one unnecessary trip to service for anything. I've only been to service for Oil changes; wear and tear on the brakes; to rotate the tires and a wheel alignment.
