thnx for the tut. when i try it i cant get the card into my hand properly. i know the size of the hands doesnt really matter but it seems that way. i think im doing something wrong with the right hand but im not sure what.

@sikkde Dude the side steal is basic knowledge for every aspiring magician. and merely a sleight of hand technique to more complex routines. I don't know if teaching it is even considered "revealing". You can't do much by using side steal alone...
And if bored kids thinks for magic as a hobby, fine for me.
You shouldn't teach bad techniques.. Learn from reading Ed Marlo's description of the Definitive Side Steal. This video is a disgrace. I can't believe you would have to use an Erdnase pinky break to hold the top card.. that's weak.
, I was unaware I was teaching Bad Techniques, I have used it many times with great results... I you must also remember are most likely a lot older then you, and learned only from books and on the job experience...not like many of the street-performers now who rely on Magnetic Coins and hidden earth magnets on their person... Also I do not remember any of the so called inventors of sleights, and maybe that's because many of us were not born during the 1800's and riverboats...
