You don't forget about it as soon as you leave the theater? I was so interested in it, i looked up Kyle Gallner & fell in love with him. I didn't spend 10$ on it, I saw it three times in theaters, and bought the DVD the day it came out. so 55$ , and NONE of it was a waste at ALL. :D so yeah, your "opinion" sucks !

I don't like the movie as well. I don't hate this movie like crazy, but it's just not that good. Most of the scare moment from this movie was ripped out from other movies like for example the part where the kid with cancer chopped the door taken from the shining (I thought he was going to stick his head on the chopped part of the door and say something). And the "base on the true story" with haunted house, gee I wonder where have I heard of that

Anyway, This movie reminds me of "The Amityville Horror". There was lots more to act out in this movie. They just streched the truth and made it fake and untrue. I personally liked the discovery channel version better. For example, the dad parks the car and it just suddenly runs into the family's house. And the shower curtain didnt nearly suficate the neice, but the mom.
