I was 10 yrs old at the time and we live in Holland so i didnt even knew what the WTC was. Now im lookin back and now I realy feel the tragidy it realy was. the people that are saying it would be impossible for that guy to survive, it's not. The plane went in at angle, the fireball went out the sides but mostly the opposite side of the building. This is because the plane was going at such a forward momentum. That is why in Tower one at the point of impact you saw only a hole and no flames and if you look closely you can see people standing on the edge of where the plane went in.
it should be common sense to evacuate a building no matter how small the fire is, it saddens me to see that so many people died because they thought it wasn't that bad, reminds me of the people who built the titanic, who thought their ship was unsinkable.

According to his story he was making his way out of the building but he was told to go back up where it was safer. Then he went back upstairs according to his story at which point after reaching his desk the plane struck his office. So, basically what could have happened is that as he was almost back in his office he heard the boom! and realized what happened and later on over sensationalized the story for the media.
I'm really struggling to understand how Stanley survived. The temperature must have been about 3000 degrees with all that burning fuel, and a table would have not saved him. Unless he was exaggerating about how close he actually was to the impact zone.

According to him in that interview most of the people at his work, fuji bank, didn't show up for work that day and it's possible that he too didn't show up UNTIL HE HEARD ABOUT THE IMPACT. Either that or he got lucky and didn't journey all the way up the stairs when he was told to be the idiots downstairs.

I heard another survivor state that his view of 3 years was changed from SW to W after the plane hit. The part above the impact shifted that much. This being the case the building was coming down at that point. That is a tremendous amount of weight above the impact not fully attached to the rest of the building. Sitting there until the steel below gives way. RIP to all that died that day.
Where he was at, you really had to think fast in order to survive that.. During a "WtF" moment like this you could either Make a run for it, Freeze up and shit your pants, move to the side, or get down. And he made the one move that allowed him to survive..

my friends father worked in fudiciary and he died. he was on the phone with his wife and friends most of the time after to say goodbye, he gave instructions for his kids and his finances, even as he broke a window to get air.. he knew he had no way out. he was praying with his best friend when his friend heard him scram MY G_OD! and they shriek. the call went dead mid scream. they found something of him six months later. his terror inside the building waiting for death haunts me most about 9/11

@malcolmmorin no, kevin was on the phone with 911 when the building collapsed and his death scream was recorded. my friends dad was Shimmy Beigeleisen. i didn't ask for details when i got that call, but i did find out later that only 200 of the victims were found intact. in amny cases just a few bone fragments, sometimes, just a finger was identified for the family to bury. i have no idea how much of Shimmy's remains were found, and i'm not sure i want to know.
when i was notified that a funeral was planned for him i asked "so they found him?" and the response was "well, they found ...something" thats all i know

@X0AliciaX0 WEll the way I see it they were all brought there to go out together... God heard their prayers, but their lives were already fulfilled. They already did what they had to do to make it in this life, and they were basically given one last test. God gave them one last test to make sure those people were worthy of the promised land. Sometimes unanswered prayers are the best gifts of all... God knows what he's doing. Their lives were already planned out. Think about it.

OR 384.8 tons of TNT . Eardrums rupture at 190 to 198 dB. Shock waves and sonic booms are about 200 dB at 330 m. Sounds around 200 dB can cause death to humans and are generated near bomb explosions (e.g. 23 kg of TNT detonated 3 m away).

the people that are saying it would be impossible for that guy to survive, it's not. The plane went in at angle, the fireball went out the sides but mostly the opposite side of the building. This is because the plane was going at such a forward momentum. That is why in Tower one at the point of impact you saw only a hole and no flames and if you look closely you can see people standing on the edge of where the plane went in.

it should be common sense to evacuate a building no matter how small the fire is, it saddens me to see that so many people died because they thought it wasn't that bad, reminds me of the people who built the titanic, who thought their ship was unsinkable.

@bombarderoazul It wasn't necessarily that they didn't think it was bad enough, a lot of people didn't evacuate because they were told not to because they thought that they would be blocking the entrances and then the emergency workers wouldnt be able to get inside to the people that needed help....but its still tragic :(

According to his story he was making his way out of the building but he was told to go back up where it was safer. Then he went back upstairs according to his story at which point after reaching his desk the plane struck his office. So, basically what could have happened is that as he was almost back in his office he heard the boom! and realized what happened and later on over sensationalized the story for the media.
This explains how he survived a massive fireball.

I'm really struggling to understand how Stanley survived. The temperature must have been about 3000 degrees with all that burning fuel, and a table would have not saved him. Unless he was exaggerating about how close he actually was to the impact zone.

@missfizzyizzy1 He's full of it. I heard his first interview on an mp3 years ago when he was interviewed by a journalist for the first time and he changed his story since then. According to him in that interview most of the people at his work, fuji bank, didn't show up for work that day and it's possible that he too didn't show up UNTIL HE HEARD ABOUT THE IMPACT. Either that or he got lucky and didn't journey all the way up the stairs when he was told to be the idiots downstairs.

Look around youtube at his various videos and you'll find people pointing out discrepencies in his story that just shouldn't be there. He's confused descriptors such as left and right, center and corner, east and west and comes out sounding like a scatterbrain or some kind of hoaxter. One thing he is definately not is a reliable witness.

I heard another survivor state that his view of 3 years was changed from SW to W after the plane hit. The part above the impact shifted that much. This being the case the building was coming down at that point. That is a tremendous amount of weight above the impact not fully attached to the rest of the building. Sitting there until the steel below gives way. RIP to all that died that day.

my friends father worked in fudiciary and he died. he was on the phone with his wife and friends most of the time after to say goodbye, he gave instructions for his kids and his finances, even as he broke a window to get air.. he knew he had no way out. he was praying with his best friend when his friend heard him scram MY G_OD! and they shriek. the call went dead mid scream. they found something of him six months later. his terror inside the building waiting for death haunts me most about 9/11

@malcolmmorin no, kevin was on the phone with 911 when the building collapsed and his death scream was recorded. my friends dad was Shimmy Beigeleisen. i didn't ask for details when i got that call, but i did find out later that only 200 of the victims were found intact. in amny cases just a few bone fragments, sometimes, just a finger was identified for the family to bury. i have no idea how much of Shimmy's remains were found, and i'm not sure i want to know.

People forget how much of A-holes these people were. These people would step over homeless elderly and look the other way when the poor would ask them for coins, on there way to their high paying jobs.
