  • yea, we need a fucking tracks 2. like now

  • its rly awsum but i cnt rly understand wht he's saying

  • can you believe a man would write a song as good as this and never release it? damn, his throw-aways are better than some band's whole careers!

  • Yes, there's a lot of "Thunder Road" there but it's distinct enough to stand on its own. A gorgeous melody. I'm not sure if he wrote a complete set of lyrics for it. It sounds like he's just scatting in parts.

  • i heard some thunder road in this. i love listening to outtakes and seeing chords and notes and lyrics he takes from one out take and puts them in a song that ends up on the album!

  • This still has the "Greetings From Asbury Park" slow, Jazzy feel,

    with a prominent organ.

    Bruce wanted to evolve.

So he sped it up and made it a more mainstream rocking sound.

  • @MrMadboss i think so too! the whole track sounds a lot like "Thunder Road."

  • looking at the #'s of unrealeased springsteen songs on u-tube, i am fugging AMAZED. his throw-aways would make other performers whole careers. if i was a young guy, i'd just collect up a bunch of these and go out and sing them and become a damn rock and roll star.

  • The Intro is right out of Thunder Road.

  • Might be on Tracks 2?
