Those fences look way to easy for Bullwinkle....looks as if he's lazily just stepping right over them. I wouldn't doubt he could clear 4 foot easily! Love the fact you're showing so many people out here the real versatility of the TWH breed! Keep doing what you're doing :)) I just had a new TWH colt born this spring.....video on my channel of him! His daddy cleared his woven wire fence with a strand of electric 1' above it. Less than 1 y/o & fence was all still up, unbent or off posts anywhere!
I love your Tennessee Walker. I have a black gelding, same breed named Willy. I REALLY want to be able to show him in shows like you are but I don't know how to get him to trot under saddle-- I taught him how to trot on the lounge line but he will not do it with my on him, so what can I do? I would LOVE to be able to teach him on command BOTH gait and trot.
@TheAnimallover434 i got the walker i ride to trot by working ground poles its hard for the to gait over a line of ground poles so if you push him just enough it should force hime to trot....it worked form me but may not work for you
Beautiful horse...but i just dont believe its a true walker if they trot. Guess im old fashioned. I have a TWH that i jump as well. We did mostly cross country & jumper style. What makes walkers special is their gaiting.
@McCrazyGood I agree, I don't believe many TWH's will even trot! They canter and gait(running walk) between the fences & these judges need to start realizing that! As well as all these others need to realize where TWH originated from! The Tennessee Walking Horse is a composition of Narragansett and Canadian Pacer, Standardbred, Thoroughbred, Morgan, and American Saddlebred stock. Originally bred as a utility horse! Once you ride one, you'll be looking to own one, guaranteed! Walk on :))
Pretty horse!
Your 2point needs some work though ;)
