This is complete horseshit, you download a bunch of hd movies and you bet your ass they are going to speed throttle you, it pisses me the fuck off when companies say "hey! we have an unlimited plan! but oh wait if you try to use our unlimited plan we're gonna dial you back to dialup speed! ha!"

@SprintNextelFan well it appears that a couple days ago the CEO said they do not speed throttle their top consumers however they will terminate your contract for doing so because they are losing money therefore their "truly unlimited plan" is for users who do not intend to use their claimed to be services the way they are meant to be used.

@AkumaADemoncus Right but the point of that statement was we do not throttle, if we did not want someone over using our data, we could simple kick them off the network, which is true. Any carrier can terminate your service for any reason they want. The point was, if we don't want someone using that data, we wouldn't allow them to. Since Sprint does off unlimited data without any throttle, you are good to go.

I have Tmobile and honestly about 85% of the day my phone is 4G speed. And I use A LOT of data. I watch netflix all day at work and have no speed problems once so ever. And when they do throttle my speed down, I just wait 5 minutes and its back to 4G. Since I work on the outskirts of town, Sprint doesn't have coverage here so I would be forced to use their towers with a 300mb limit. Go over and they charge you.

I have a grandfathered unlimited data plan with Verizon, if Sprint keeps the unlimited data plan and gets the iphone, i will switch in 2 years when my Verizon contract is over. Hopefully Sprints still has the unlimited data in 2 years with more reasonable calling plans than Verizon and AT&T.

Verizon doesn't charge extra after going over 2GB of data... they have more data plans than AT&T
