He made immediate changes and weathered Australia through the most severe financial crisis in the last 75 years. Shortly after his election he said SORRY. He made significant changes to work choices reform. He spoke about the experience of homelessness being something no one in a country like Australia should ever experience.

I work in an area very close to him and what brought his downfall was a handful of young yuppie 30ish Uni student types who hung around him like flies to the point that THEY calls on what should and shouldn’t be done.
