I love the shows where Jason comes back. But I will say that Metallica was much better live with Jason, but Rob is a much better bass player. Rob should study Jason's intensity and aggression on stage.

I think the best way to get Jason back into the Metallica mix, is to take on a production role in their recordings. I mean, Rick pretty much gets hired to produce and album, then he only shows up once a week or so, and leaves the band to track their music themselves, and then gets production credit on the album. Did it to LP too!

It was Rick Ruben who convinced them to revisit the 80s style, and its my opinion that he knew they could pull it off with Rob on bass!!!

When KISS did unplugged, All the origional members looked at each other on stage and said maybe there can be a reunion tour, well it happened. Rob is a AMAZING bass player, but Metallica should really bring Jason for a reunion tour, it feels and sounds like the good old days when I watch this vid!
