i already checked on another vid where it is Olga, it looks the same, also Olga's visor doesn't open but it can be made see through, that's how Raiden discovers it's Olga, she makes it see through.

Orrrr, when you enter your name on the VR missions: UUDDLRLRBA (Konami code) enter that as your name, and you'll unlock all the characters!

MGS2 is divided into a prologue episode (Tanker Incident) where you play as Solid Snake and the main episode (Big Shell) where you play as Raiden. However, the game's main focus is the Big Shell Incident, so you play as Raiden most of the time. However, Substance has a mode ''Snake Tales'' where you can play as Solid Snake in the Big Shell under 5 short non-canon stories.

Ok I got a stupid question. I've known about Susbstance since it came out on Ps2, but I only got it like 6 or 8 months ago to play through on a new disk and the VR missions. is there a way that you can play Snake all the way through the main game without switching to Raiden?

Mgs2 was a pretty good game but there some anoying thing like that emma or when you use the sniper i'm not doing anything and it goes all over the place or the swimming is annoying and the story is Weird freaky crazy i don't know but colonel campbell was fake right but you see him in real person in mgs4

To be honest, I never watched the cutscenes in MGS2 :P

However, MGS2 was an awesome game that you HAVE to play... well, ALL Metal Gear's are awesome games! I recommend everyone with a PS3/PS2 to buy the Essential Collection! It has Metal Gear Solid, Metal Gear Solid 2: Substance and Metal Gear Solid 3: Subsistence (disc 1) all for the price of one! (That is if you don't already have all Metal Gear's :P)

In the VR Missions, it's just a fact of selecting it in weapon mode, and Raiden has it in most missions.

In Sons of Liberty, you get it in the ''Arsenal Gear'' which is near the end, but the weapon doesn't come over on your next playthrough, so you only have the blade for 20

minutes or something...

I have unlocked everything in Substance except for Raiden's blue wig, (the one in ''Snake Soup'' is from a cheat hehe...)

But anyway, if you finished Tanker-Plant, I think you'll unlock it. (Tanker and Plant on different save files, or the Tanker-Plant on 1 save... atleast that was in Sons of Liberty.)

Red kills people (Raiden slashes with the sharp side.)

Blue knocks them out. (So it's the blunt side of the blade, you can only kill when you stab if you use that side.)

Hehe, don't worry about it, everyone makes mistakes, but I recently downloaded a mod for this game, which gives Blade Raiden, a half-blooded face, and removes the words ''Raiden'' from his forehead!
