Missingno is a glitch pokemon originally from blue and red versions and when transferred to yellow it has a given description. It is the strongest pokemon but with weak hp so if it is the slower pokemon it is a one shot kill.

The glitch was revealed in one of the issues of Nintendo Power, and they said NOT TO DO IT, as could corrupt the game, but all it does, in some versions, have glitches EVERYWHERE, some versions have have as an unknown Pokemon, as the DS ones are basically That's right. Missingno. was originally a placeholder pokemon. Since Nintendo only had 151 pokemon back then they accidently made 250 place slots. So they had to find a way to get rid of those unneeded slots. So GAME FREAK Jammed all their pokemon Data into 1 line on the west of cinnibar island. and the REsult was Missingno.! Missingno is technically all Pokemon Data into one but grabbed the Zapdos Cry. It's number #000 in the Pokedex and is a NORMAL/BIRD type and starts with 2 WATER GUN and a SKY ATTACK.ROM?

The truth abaout massigno is this the original evolution line in red blue yellow was baby kangaskong ( pokemon in kangaskongs poutch) maroak then kangaskong then they decided to replace baby kangaskong with cubone and make kangaskong his own pokemon...... BUT the creators didnt COMPLETLY erase the data of the baby kangaskong SOOOO the left over baby kangaskong data formed itself into massigno the glitch.

But here goes the easy way: Missingno. is a Pokémon in Red/Blue (There are other glitches in other games but don't call them "Missingno's") that Nintendo forgot to take out of the game. Every Pokémon has a "seen" flag of 1 bit, which the Pokédex uses. Missingno's seen flag is the same bit as the first bit of your sixth item, so it adds 128 to that item, giving you a bunch of Master balls!
