  • You guys should have done the comic version not the movie version

  • in other words he's batman

  • please do ghost rider next

  • Mmmhhh... actually Tony said IM was his bodyguard, he doesn't uses a facade of Playboy to hide it, Tony is a playboy his whole life. Then he revealed he was Iron Man to protect his armor from duplicating by the U.S.A gov.

  • I don't if Tony hide his secret identity in the comics but I have to admit the Bruce does a better job when it comes to act as a playboy to hide your super hero persona.

  • but then he's like "im iron man so boom in your face" superman is like" you can't reveal your secret identity!!!!" and iron man is like "i can b.c i just did b.c im iron man so boo-yaaa" and batman is like "grassuwbwbwbwbnkkdnd, hldndndnmdmmmmmd dhdhd" iron man looks at batman like *huh* "huh???? i couldn't understand you with all that bleh" and superman was like " he said you can't reveal ur secret identity unless your gonna sleep with a new chick every film" and iron man was like " herpes".

  • Can you do mystique

  • you can do the origins of the Mandarin the arch foe of iron man

  • you guys should do she venom spider women and she hulk

  • You should do one about The Punisher.

  • 15 YEARS OLD AND WENT TO MIT!!!?!?!? THAT'S RETARDEDLY FAST!!!!

  • @STOTTPEDIA first off i read marvel a lot more then DC, but batman is still cool

  • Comment removed

  • @GearShotgun uhh..... no... Batman is Batman and Iron Man is Iron Man their is no "less cool marvel verson" if u really think about it their back stoies are NOTHING alike (aside from the whole inherting a company thing) Batman and Iron Man are both awesome btw....

  • @Sarge813 i meant in the generic "rich playboy who's also a super hero" way. but batman is still awesome

  • If he finds ademanteum he would be nearly unstoppable

  • why can't he just have that metal shrapnel removed

  • @MrHulkster411 yeah! you're right! and they both own an industrie of technologie by there last name too! and are billionaires!

  • iron man is like the batman of the marvel universe instead of having just a costume and gadgets he has a suit of armor and he lost both of his parents any you guys notice that?

  • @MrHulkster411 Not until now... Now I see it... your right! OMG!!! O.o

  • @MrHulkster411 but batman is DC and Iron man is in the great marvel universe

  • Iron does have a super power. He can sleep with any woman he wants.

  • @LadyHillzALot lol SO TRUE

  • i liked the mandarin version better

  • Comment removed

  • ...but he told everyone that he was Ironman?

  • @XHereNumberThere just in the movie not da comics

  • So.. short!?

  • Dr. Yensen was a determining factor for Iron Man to keep the suit and become a crimebuster instead of mass marketing it. Yensen, who helped create the device which keep Stark's heart beating, gave his life as a diversion so that the suit could be fully activated. His sacrifice sharpened Stark's attention on human decency when a good man was murdered by a group of bad men before his eyes.

  • lawn lsland or long island

  • I wouldn't say he doesn't have a super ability. Just because you can't see it, doesn't mean he doesn't have one.

  • lots of parents die in this one :(

  • It sucks to be a superhero you know, your parents will always be killed -_-

(some of them dont, relax nerd-ragers)

  • one thing i want to know is in the comic did he reveal his secret identity? thats the one thing in the movie they did that i felt he would never do

  • @deathblad13 He did during Civil War

  • looks like the movie got it right

  • So much better than the first one! I just finished watching it before everyone else at onlineflixzone . com

  • What do you call Extremis? THAT is a power.

  • @Slimshadow457 yeah but didnt extrimis fail on him after secret invasion

  • @nymetsfan9121 yeah, but he still ad a power.

  • WatchMojo, you obviously aren't a Marvel Fan and you don't know about Tony Stark' history. First of all, the movies made now never follow the Marvel Universe, which is why I don't like watching them. You are basically following the movie.

Tony Stark received some kind of alien technovirus that was attacking his body and nervous system that later paralyzed him. He created the "heart shield" to prevent the technovirus from affecting his heart. I know because I have this issue of Ironman!

  • munchi, Iron Man was first published in the 1960's. Stark was in Vietnam observing RVN soldiers and their American Army advisors using his advanced weapons when he was injured by a Viet Cong mine. The movie just updated the story from Vietnam to Afghanistan. The story you're talking about is just some writer screwing with the storyline to make it sound cooler.

  • @dumbbo1 Understand that the stories change over time due to the time frame. Iron man is over 50 years old so when you don't update the time frame, the story may sound irrelivant to the current generation. The reason why Mojo goes this route because this is the Origin of Iron Man's story not a word for word description on when he first appeared (There is a difference). I would'nt take this too seriously because exactly how and who he was captured by is the most irrelivant.

  • @shoNuuff Yeah, I can see your point. Otherwise, you'd end up with an 80-something Tony Stark running around, although with enough electronics you probably could go that route.

  • @dumbbo1 sounds like mason in black ops was a tony stark rip off

  • @Sam131101 probaly

  • @dumbbo1 ironman was actually in Iraq BTW i am Vietnamease

  • @lenhulan And you probably think Iron Man was written only a few years ago. He's vintage 1960's! Tony Stark was in South Vietnam observing ARVN forces using his flashlight-sized mortars when he accidentally walked into an exploding booby trap and was captured by Viet Cong guerillas before building his first suit and escaping. (I guess Uncle Ho never told you!) The recent movie version did a great job adapting the story to modern times. (By the way, it is set in Afghanistan, not Iraq.)

  • Comment removed

  • @dumbbo1 i am born in 2001 i'm only 10 and i'm south vietnamease but i'm born in USA besides uncle ho is dead

  • @dumbbo1 Damn, vietnam would be way cooler than Afghanistan.

  • needs for background information from the comic

  • i like the comic book one bcus tony never told any1 he is

  • I know, I was explaining that to lordrandal90. I know both the Ultimate and the 616 version.

  • He is originally captured by Asian terrorists (he was created during the Vietnam War). And though he is losing them, since 2005, he DOES have powers outside of the suit. After injecting himself with the Extremis formula, his able to "talk" to technology, which allows him to "see" through satellites, operate his armor remotely through thought, and even create the suit that he wears under the armor from nanites in his skin. Oh, and that isn't an act, Stark is just that damn cool and sarcastic.

  • @superman4u1985, you have done your homework my friend, well done!!!!!!

  • no he isnt he is a playboy as he inherited billions of dollars at 15 years old he drinks smoked gambled the did all until he was capture and nearly died

  • If you're referring to the COMIC BOOK history of Iron Man, it would have been nice to show more panels from the actual comic book rather than the movie.

  • the only problem I have is when you mention following the comic's origin. Which one are you following? Marvel 616 (Main Timeline) Ultimates version, or any of the other multiple versions of him?

  • they refer to the main timeline, because the ultimate version has different origins (something about a brain cancer)

  • In the ultimate timeline, experiments on him ran by his father as young child is what results him being so intelligent ( his brain is actually wired through his whole body.) A side effect from this is that he has an inoperable brain tumor that eventually will kill him.

  • mmm I don't like it, looks like the extremis saga but in the origins. i think the classic one is better.

  • HES STILL AN ALCOHOLIC!!!

  • your still a dickhead

  • LOL...

  • your an even smaller dickhead

  • i like robert downey junior, but whenever i see him i think of that one scene from the simpsons. robert downey is shooting at the police and someone(marge or lisa most likely) says

"look, rdj is shooting a movie!"

bart then says "where are the cameras?"

  • iron man and bat man super powers is money

  • NOOOOOOO WAYYYYYYY

  • Well someones in denial, if you don't believe me do some research for your self and you will see that Iron Man was inspired and based off of Howard Huges. I would not state something that I don't research into, but if you want to continue this pointless argument then go ahead, I have resources and citations that proves you wrong anyway.

  • a few things

    1. I was actualy pretty sure that he was just a flat out playboy, having little to no connection with his suit

2.I was pretty sure he was captured by vietnam (due to the fact that at the time the comic was made, vietnam was a large issue)

  • Basically Marvel's stolen version of Batman

  • Technically Batman was a stolen version of Zorro

  • Did Zorro suffer from a child hood trauma, come from a wealthy family and was a philontrhopist?

  • Yes, in fact the person who Zorro is based off of had his children killed and wife raped before his eyes when the Spaniards took over Mexico. Childhood trauma, not exactly, but trauma nonetheless.

  • You have a point!!!!

  • Iron Man was based off of Howard Huges, they never stolen it from Batman, but they do end up with alot of similarities.

  • Bullshit, too much similarities.

    1. Wealthy family

    2. Intelligent

    3. Parents die

    4. Childhood trauma

    5. No super powers

    6. Technology+ wit +money as weapons

    7. Portrays himself as a playboy to avoid suspicion

And much more, that just screams batman wannabe.

  • except tony stark isnt pretending to be a playboy......he really is one,and tends to get in a mess due to attractive women........and his parents death wasnt quite childhood it was more like his coming into adolsescence..........

  • @pieceofparadox 1. Hank Pym, Reed Richards, Jan Van Dyne, Namor, Wonder Woman, The Sandman, etc, are wealthy; 2. So what? heroes are smart or strong or both; 3. Parents death didn't relate to his adopting armor; 4. ??? 5. Lots of costumed heroes have no powers...the Green Lantern? the Green Hornet? The Green Leaves of Summer? 6. A common trait...Richards, Blue Beetle, Knight Rider, Macgiver, etc.; 7. actually is a swinger!, albeit a more responsible swinger now that he's a hero.

  • I AM IRON MAN! One of my fave supers.

  • does anybody else agree here that the 90s completely ruined iron man, and nearly ruined marvel itself???thank goodness for retcons,(aka, franklin richards)

  • yeah you right dude

  • If you mean the horrible "crossing" event that made Iron Man suddenly evil and was replaced by a teenage version of himself, then yes. The entire decade of the comic book run, then no because that was the decade where he made the Modular Armor, one of the best armors made.

  • #1 was the exact thing i was referring to......teenage tony stark was retarded....but i guess they used the whole heroes reborn crap to cure him and make him an adult again so it wasnt all bad...........and yea i do like that armor.......silver centurion ,extremis, and his third armor (first red and gold) were good too.

  • I concur with your statements, That event nearly ruined Iron Man's comic history, I will never forgive them for Teenage Stark.

  • i guess the death of superman just pushed every company to do something crazy and then marvel really overdid it with onslaught and things just got out of hand...i do think they have decently picked themselves back up.

  • do u mean the civil war series i havent read it but my friends rave about it tho

  • that was pretty good and also what theyre doing right now is fairly interesting

  • Please read this because it acually works!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1.Put both of your hands on your chest

    2.Think of someone thatyou like......

3.Tommorow that person will ask you out or say i love you.

4.Heres the catch just send to 5 more videos

  • I agree, i was to believe the suit was his life support.

  • i thought he couldnt leave his suit after he'd had it for a few years

  • ;;;;;;
