When you look at this objectively, you'll find that it's a jarring transition when you listen to this right after the original song because you also expect that attitude and power you get from the song. Not enough 'Energy'? Hate to break it to you, but energy isn't everything. Most beautiful songs just drift along, they don't slam and bounce. I think Rolling in the Deep is better with this delicate, gentle touch, and I don't see how you can complain about it being like this. It is still music, is it not? It is still beautiful, is it not?
