  • Given how big a bomb the movie was I'm surprised they'd want to keep the set.

  • @thx291 But the movie made back double its budget. A 'bomb' is a film that fails financially.

  • @promontorium Say what you will about it, but Williams did an excellent job in the role. Can't think of any other actor at that time, or actor today, who could pull it off. Given how panned this film was, however, it's quite a miracle that his career survived. A testament to his talents, no doubt.

  • this vid is years ago the place is transformed into a vibrant site these days.

  • That'd be funny if the diner had a sign, reading, "Positively no credit. Especially you, Wimpy!" Like in the movie.

  • cool

  • Interestingly, this is the island Paul the Apostle was shipwrecked on, perhaps even the same bay. Paul, meet Popeye!

  • I wonders where the Malta Village is located. It seems kinda quaint, almost like Ordon Village from The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess.

  • It's in Anchor Bay in the North west of the island.

It was also used in another film 'Iron Warrior', whch I guess is 'Zelda like'.

  • if you want a really fairy tale setting checkout Malta's Mgarr valley, Rabat's park called Buskett or Our Verdala Palace now thats amazing!
