You said in order to get the copyright symbol you had to use the numbers key pad to the right ... it wont work with the numbers on the top.
I am using a laptop and I dont have a numbers key to the right ... only numbers on top. Is there another way to insert the copyright symbol when using a laptop?
I am not getting it to work :( I am going to try one more time ... I think there is something about the begining I am doing wrong. My computer is set in iches ... I am going to try it with pixel
I have done everything you say in this video step-by-step (I have Elements 8). I have gone through this tutorial 3 times and everytime I create a brush, when I actually go to use it, it's a small blur that you cant even tell what it is on the picture. The transparency is at 100 so it's definitely not because it's too opaque. What am I doing wrong? Also at the very beginning where you set the numbers for the new blank file, are those numbers pixels, (I know its not inches) or what?
Cindy I have learned so much from you in using Photoshop. This is another tutorial I keep going back to so I can update my watermarks. Thank You So much for making these videos.
Cindy I have an answer LilosCrazyLife try pressing alt. + G , instead of alt.+0169 to create the circle c copyright symbol. I have a Macbook and I saw this on Adobe TV and it saved me a lot of time in trying to find content/ and shapes on the photoshop page. I hope this works for all who try it. And again, thank you Cindy so much, your video helped me out dearly.
Thank you so much your tutorial is the most comprehensive of all the videos I have seen so far. I am using it for photographs and photographs of my art work for my website. Once again Thank You so much, Cindy great job.
Just wanted to thank you from the bottom of my heart!! Every video I find say it is how to make a watermark..... when it is actually how to apply a watermark and nearly half of them are for videos when I need it for photos!!! I am looking forward to watching your 2nd video for more information! Again, Thanks!!

look under content/shapes and you will find the symbol. You'll have to leave a space in the line of type to insert it, but it is doable,

When I went to the text tool my writing is really tiny. Not sure why. I tried to change size but it wouldn't work?
