The Japanese voice actor for Koyuki was so much better.

It's a great anime but just not popular. The japanese version had better music and vocals overall but the english dub had better instrumentals by far. They butcher Koyuki's(Yukio Tanaka's) voice really bad in the english dub. A lot of people complained about his inability to pronounce English, but if you ever read the manga, the language barrier was a major obstacle for Koyuki for a long time. It was part of what defined him and was extremely important for the story. Just my thoughts...

@Soriousofchaos That was really stupid. More likely, it's because Sony/BMI the the Michael Jackson Company share rights to the Beatles' catalog. And since Sony is a (theoretically) Japanese company, it woud make sense if they had the non-US rights while TMJC has the US ones; thus Beck might be able to use the actual lyrics in the Japanese version. Pure speculation, but at least it has the potential of being the case.

I think the singing in this video dominates the original, due to the fact that the people singing had gotten old so it just didn't sound as could as it could be。　If Lennon and McCartney had written this in their "glory days" back before the polotics and yoko ono.　When they were still the top of the charts every year, then yes, it would have been amazing.　But singers kind of lose it when they get older, it happened with The Who and bruce springstein.
