  • Thanks for the headsup regarding this site Fran! I'm always looking for new backing tracks as well since I'm pretty much a closet/basement player and don't have access to the caliber of musicians it takes to play the type of music I want to practice to. Great playing as always on this demo! (I always loved this song.)

Still can't get enough of the sound of your drums! They're killin' me! Lol!

  • @FunkinItUpaBit Hey Man!! Thanks so so much for the generous compliment! You are TOO kind!! SONOR my friend!! They are SO SO good. Sound SO nice!!

  • sure fun to play

for me it was great, cause I´ve played it many times with a real band

    playbacks sounds poor, sorry

your a great drummer, but this one is not so interesting to me

  • @spicefritz You are missing the point. As musicians, we play with bands. That is the point of playing an instrument. To play with other musicians. If you are fortunate enough to have a live band to play with whenever you feel like practicing, that's amazing. These backing tracks are meant to be used when you want to practice to music but a live band is not available at the given time. This is just an example of one of MANY great backing tracks by Bobby. It is not meant to be a drum showcase.

OK, You are absolutely right! It´s really helpful to gather experience and practice.

Maybe it´s just my aversion against midi stuff.

    Regards from munich, germany

  • @spicefritz Hallo, spice. What's the drumming scene like in Munich, Germany? I hear of a lot of American drummers moving to Europe because there is more work there. Any truth to that?

  • @ShelterDogs

    Hi

we have a huge music scene and fantastic drummers in germany.

But it is getting more difficult to play in public, because clubs are getting less.

During the late 70 ties and in the 80ies I have played many times in ther clubs of Munich, but things have c hanged dramatically. A few locations and way to many musicians. But I have to say that it also depends of the style you play. When you are playing in a show or dancing band, there are good chances to make some money, ..

  • @ShelterDogs

also with a country rock band you have more abilities to play in front of people than with Rock, Jazz or other styles. Beside my life as a drummer and singer I have worked the last 25 years as a sound engineer in my own studio (spicerecords.de) and offered the cd manufacturing too. Business went very well, but since the last 3 years business went down little by little. So I have lot of time to pactice and to record my stuff :-) or doing playalongs(weckl, igoe)

  • You change for a Sonor Force 2007? How do you like them? I have a Force 2007 too and I'm in love with it. So punchy , warm and resonant.

  • @Mxlandry I LOVE the Force 2007 to record with. I share your same sentiments! I still have the Force 3007. I LOVE that kit as well! SONOR makes my favorite drums!!
