Don was my grandfathers brother and I saw him do this song live. However I didn't realize that it was on a record. Does any one know what one I can find is on.
Don Cornell was one in a billion, Sammy Kaye really lost out when Don left, but he did have some priceless gems with Sammy such as "It isn't fair" "Careless hands" "Stagedoor canteen" etc.
this song always reminds me of tony blueit, from radio aire he would play it ,i will never forget him just a great guy hi tony jean north

That is great! I had never heard it before. It is so nice to hear excellent music where you can actually hear the words!

Don had one of the best voices around. And at his best when he quit being a crooner for the Sammy Kaye Band.
