  • @U3X6785 This is addressed in the book as is seeding the nose with other competing bacteria.

  • Staphylococcus aureus, I am sure gets mentioned at every introduction to microbiology course.

  • Both maladies very disruptive of healthy DNA; a clear example of how DNA is not something perennial, as some people think. For progress to happen, DNA needs to change, unfortunately, diseases are some times part of the human-evolution-process. It the end, it is a balance between homogeneity and heterogeneity. 

  • @jjojjorge Oh yes, and when I said healthy DNA, I should have stated relatively healthy DNA, because as I stated during my previous succinct lines DNA is part of the progress of the universe. Today we are better than yesterday at all levels from a general point of view; tomorrow we will be better than today.
