It "should be" doesn't mean it always is. It's better in terms of security. But they forget to mention that it pops up dialog boxes every five freaking seconds to verify that what you are doing is autherized, and that it is actually what you want to do. I can't even delete something to the recycle bin without being quizzed several hundred times its like being on a game show.

The only true benefit I see of Vista, is the compatibility with DX10 Games - Crysis, Bioshock etc.

As I have just had to reinstall Vista Ultimate and currently putting the programmes back on, I am a little dissapointed at having to do a system rebuild after a few months of use on my laptop... at least this time I can find anti virus that works with the 64 bit. Firstly, many third party companies make products for Apple. It hasn't been since John Sculley took control of Apple that they've disallowed third party development. Now they have quarterly developer confrences. The reason Apple is not in control of the market is because this generation still goes with what they know.
