  • this would be perfect.... if it suported mkv files and ntfs hard drives...as well as everything it does suport... this would be an instent buy.... however they dont so sux.... actually i could live without mkv but... defenetly need ntfs harddrive suport for my external hds

  • Hahaha BFG. As a DOOM fan only that makes me want to buy it. It sounds awesome anyways though.

  • I got the hi-den vision device and it came in the mail today. The power adapter that came with it is some large plug I think is not the standard plug we use here in America, probably something they use in Hong Kong where they product was mailed from.

  • Man is he ever running out of ideas.

  • If you have a PS3 it does the same thing.

  • bfg is big freindly giant

if ur like my sis then its big fat gut

  • Great review. I will get one for my HDTV.

  • I was rater nr.101!

  • my hdtv has a usb port for media. suckers xD

  • Is it better than the wdtv? Which one should I get, the WDTV or the Hi-den?

  • B.ig F.**king G.un

Doom refrence hahaha good stuff Chris

  • Or you can just buy a VGA to HDMI or DVI to HDMI adapter and make the TV another monitor on your computer. Im sure a LOT cheaper.

  • Lol thats what i did ty !

  • chris is a beast yo

  • What happens if my Laptop already has a HDMI port on the side of it?? Will I still need something like this?

  • If it's a laptop, that will be an HDMI OUT port. You can't use this in an out port.

  • so you could use this for playback of 1080p video? or is this thing only compatible with audio and pictures?

  • audio is really out of sync chris...

  • my samsung has one of these built in

  • Yes, the TV in my house has one of these built in.

  • no i have flash player ten it just shows the video name but no video box

  • Love Your English Chris.. <3 :)

  • Soon we'll look back at this 1080P thing and laugh. wait until we get much higher resolutions. Laser lighted TVs... etc.. oops maybe said too much already. ;-)

  • A poor family will only be able to afford a 50" HDTV in that time.....

  • can sumone help me i cant watch videos on youtube anymore they dont show up

  • try upgrading your flash player

  • or you can have a computer with an hdmi or dvi out and just plug it on your tv...

  • PS3 for that =D

  • Chris are you going to try Windows 7 when it comes out.

  • he already has on his HP Touchsmart PC

  • ever notice the peeps in the chat echo whatever you say?

  • xbox 360 =]. use conect360 to get it to work with a mac. =]

  • cool.. i have all my digital content streaming from my macbook pro to my ps3.. it works great..

  • I use Apple TV for all this stuff. Works seamlessly.

  • Um can this to full HD decoding? like decodign a 1080p MKV file, I highly highly highly doubt it. You need a pretty decent CPU for that. So why would I want something that can technically output at 1080p resolution but can't do the decoding for HD content. LAME.

  • Upside is it's really cheap

  • Yeah this thing can only decode DVD resolutions which is kind of strange assuming it's a HD TV box.

I'm really liking what Windows 7 is doing with HD video, offloading it to the GPU; you can watch a 1080P video while only using 2% of your CPU.

Just plug it into a TV.

  • i use my XBOX 360 for that

  • I uses D-Link DSM-510 Media Extender

  • WoOt

  • 

  • thats been installed it to DLP tvs some LCD tvs so its already out dated and i saw it on day time shopping on NBC shopping network

  • Or u could just use ur xbox360 that u proberly have or a ps3 i hope works as well ^^ for that and game on em as well xD instead of buying some little comercial shit thing...

  • chicossss(dot)mybrute(dot)com <------- please create one :b

Click it and create your own brute!

    its a safe site.

  • TV (Apple TV)

  • are you itlaie

  • just use a PS3. man.

  • P S 3

  • hell yes. trey 4 life.

  • I use my computer for that. Which outputs 1080p. But my TV doesn't support digital audio input.

  • My ps3 does that and got four usb ports to plug extra external hard drive.

  • i use my PS3

  • so how does that tiny thing power 1080p content?

  • Big Friendly Dinosaur, yes it is like a BFG(big friendly giant)

  • big fucking gun!

  • Popcorn hour hands down best thing for a tv.

1080p and it supports every format under the sun.

o and it can have a internal hardrive as well

  • Great vid

  • Woot! My dad actually just showed me the cable connector that he got for viewing his HD videos from his camera on our travel trailers HDTV.

  • link dint work

  • DLNA CHRIS WHAT IS THAT hmm

  • 18th comment YEZ!!!!!

  • so this turns in a commercial site

    just advertising :S! sad..

  • My laptop has a HDMI cable built into it. Is there any point in me buying something like this???

  • no there isnt

  • Yes there is actually. I realise I may have worded it wrong. What I meant to say was there is a HDMI port....

  • You can plug a computer into my HDTV. But this is cool.

  • A device such as...AN XBOX 360! Seriously you can even wirelessly sync your 360 to your computer and view videos and photos, and also listen to music. It's awesome. It's more expensive than the one in this video, but then it has more features.

  • Cool Just about to but a bad asS Tv but its Got no Usd Input !

  • anyone know how to fix my picture lag on my 360. i bought a 37 inch lcd. and the picture lags on games. thanks

  • Are you using HDMI or the red, green, blue composite cables? If you're not, it will lag. But if you are using one of those, adjust the video settings.

  • in my tv it is build in

just put a usb device in it and voila

images and sound unfortunatly no dvd's

  • thanks for the vid!

  • Bagsie 8th comment :D

  • Cool!

  • Too bad the video compatibility isn't very good — "Max. Content Resolution : Video File: 720 x 576 pix (Standard Definition)...". Otherwise a pretty good piece of hardware.

  • Nice.
