I downloaded the demo and this game does have xbox 360 quality graphics, DO NOT judge it by youtube videos, on the 3ds everything is so sharp and clear, almost like HD, and the realistic lighting,shaders and reflections are the heart of the graphics, SO this is a xbox 360 quality game, also, it is very fun indeed, I will get it later on in the year, I am planning on buying a vita on launch day, but I am looking foward to playing the full gane!

@thecristovar This is far better than re 4 these are xbox 360 quality graphics, play the eshop demo yourself and see, the 3ds has a gpu capable of visuals of that of most xbox 360 games, and this game only uses around half of it's power due to the 3d hogging up the processor, so if a developer decides a game won't use the 3d he could make games look even better than this with bigger maps

there is a screenshot comparing revelations to resi 5, and they look nearly identical, capcom has also said they were so impressed that resi 5 ran so good on the 3DS that they made mercinaries and revelations using the resi 5 engine

revelations has the graphics of resident evil 4 not of resident evil 5

i mean just looks at mercenaries, i love that game and the graphics are pretty good, but is not close to resident evil 5 and even with those graphics,it has some minor graphical issues l

ive also played RE5, and tho i havent played RE:R, ive seen enough of it on many videos, ofc its not the exact same, the 3DS is very strong however its not THAT strong, but there are clear screenshots u can search on the internet right now comparing the games, you'd be surprised how good revelations look compared to RE5, you can also search up how the capcom developers had RE5 up and running on the 3DS and were quite impressed with the results

@PerfectBlade20 they may squeeze a few more ounces in a few years on this handheld but this is a 10 in the the graphics department for the 3ds. It is "console quality" but at the same time its not. Most games look ALMOST as good as gamecube. I still dont see Halo 2 or Doom 3 (xbox) running on this thing and that was the best of last gen. (playing revelations right now)

the proccessor is nearly on the level of the 360, it is so strong so that it can run the 3D, take away the 3D and the 3DS is a moster, halo 2 can easily be ran on this, and ive already seen games better then gamecube quality

Which to say is freaking amazing that they've been brought back into the series seeing as I thought they were the best of the BOWs out there.

Overall in a way I'm impressed by the overall presentation. It carries over many of the things that alot of newer fans liked such as the over the shoulder camera, the instant draw knife that's useful, and the fact that you can actually aim instead of relying on the autoaim that was present in the older games while at the same time Capcom seems to really pushing this title more towards the classic horror atmosphere that made the original games so well liked. Plus they brought back the hunter.

the Gamecube back in 2002 (I think). There are melee attacks which are kinda hard to pull off and the dodge system is really different from the last installments, in fact its practically the same one used in Resident Evil, I honestly thought that was the best of the dodge systems introduced throughout the series. Not to mention that enemies no longer seem to drop ammo or healing items anymore though that might just be for the demo.

When I first heard about this title I seriously was not looking forward to this installment seeing as both Resident 4 and 5 showed me and many others that the series was heading in a more more action oriented direction which while can be good at times the scare factor has been minimal in 4 and completely absent in 5 which was what I missed about the classic titles. Without all the Melee Attacks from RE4 and the lack of invincibility frames from using a Herb and while kicking an enemy off you, this is showing a much greater challenge and difficulty especially on Hell Mode. x0

Unlike the PSVita, you really can't see the full capabilities of the 3DS's graphics unless it's in your hand.

@Oyajitchi Its not. Its only a disguise created by good programing. It doesn't have the power and hence the full potential of the vita. The vita is almost a ps3 in your hand, trust me as time goes along the difference will be more defined.

I really enjoyed this game's demo, but I couldnt aim at all. I think to really enjoy this game I would probably need the circle pad plus, otherwise I would find it unplayable seeing as I would be dying...ALOT. Aside from that, first resident evil game in a while that actually made me jump
