  • That design reminds me of something the flintstones would of had...made of old brown dinosaur bones.Very cool ,my son loves it too.

  • what is it with people and putting shit music over their youtube videos. The sound of the stepper motors is music to my ears not this crap.

  • ok..I wont say it! BUT - You did a great job on a wood build.

  • Pls change the song

  • I,i search for a portable CNC router, i have a 4x8 CNC router, but i search a small one to make show in school your's are perfect for that, if you've got plans or hand made blueprint i'm interested, nice song two but anoying.

  • nice looking machine!

  • about 1 minute in this song fucking driving me nuts hahaha its so funny im tearing up

  • @connortimoti love the response.lol

    lmaof

  • it's a video about DIY CNC, not about music. Press mute if you don't like the music...

  • @nicanor76 haha i dunno man, i was like you until the end where it got hard...

  • HAHAHHAH WORST SONG EVERR

  • Sorry, I just had to thumb it down because of the song (or whatever the crap was)...

  • Song sounds like a Dog!

  • @speedy02 That dog must be dying in that case...

  • тупорылая музыка

  • Excellent design and fabrication, well done - that's a piece of furniture in itself! :o)

  • Absolutely beautiful CNC design, You should make PDF machine plans and sell them on the internet. (-;

The Pinball song for this clip is very annoying.

  • i like the song....owesome =)

  • YOU CAN DO SOME GRATE WORK! GRATE LOOKING MACHINE...

  • Beautiful machine!

  • haha thats pretty funny

  • That's an awesome looking home made CNC router m8!

Great job in style, how about performance ? LOL

  • awesome.. but wat is with that music..

  • terrible, terrible music

  • nce again

  • nice...

  • Love the music!!! Not Kidding!!! Sound like Sims series!

  • how can i do this?

  • REally awesome but were you high when you made this and like playing with the sounds on garageband?

  • cool video but music

  • most annoying song ever....

  • Yes, I would have preferred a narrative about why you made the choices you did with your machine instead of the music.

  • amazing! one day ill have built my own fablab!

  • Hey nice setup, seems to be a bit overcomplicated though, have a look at my chan, i build one aswell !

  • annoying music, anyway GREAT JOB dude

  • How the heck do you mute the sound ;) Haha, yeah the 'noise' was terrible, but the project is awesome!

  • most annoying song ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    cool thing 5 stars - but -10stars for song = 1 star.

  • could of chose a less annoying song ....

  • @c0ldelement sounds like a cross between the soundtrack from banjo kazooie, windows error messaages, and a dog caught in a washing machine

  • beautiful piece, and yes i too must comment on the music as it was giving me seizures.

  • What are you using for the stepper drivers? No breakout board?

  • No doubt dude, great looking machine and I rarely ever compliment a builder using wood for a cnc frame, but your design is brilliant. Put some wheels on it and grab a laptop and u got one heck of a portable cnc machine.

    Good work !!!!!!

  • That is one great looking machine... but it is ruined by by the leadscrew wobble you got going.... just get a set of damn step up adapter! (what do the neighbors think about you running it outside? :-D

  • funny music.. lol..

  • great.

  • Really nice machine!

    But the music SUCKS!! :-)

  • More like a work of art....

  • beautiful work. i'm finishing my 2 axis machine, wich is more of a demo for a diploma project. however, if it behaves decent, i'll add one more axis.

    again, excelent work

  • thanks for the feedback DavidCousins. This was my 1st real taste in CNC, already bought an 8 start 1/2" acme for my next machine and about to order new Dumpster nuts. Will most likely look into better stepper/thread connections. I'm planning on starting the build in September.

  • Amazing machine. It's a work of art! I've seen a lot of DIY CNC machines, and your is amazing. I have two comments.

    1. Replace your Acme screws with a 5 start 1/2 acme. You'll need new Dumpster Nuts too.

    2. Replace the Acme to Stepper connectors with a good set of LoveJoy connectors. What you have right now will slip pretty easily.

    Again. Beautiful machine.

  • I'm using a 4 axis Xylotex controller and their 269oz steppers.

Having an open table opens up for potentials, like allowing it to be mounted directly over a table top to router the top directly. But I'm planning on taking it a step further on my next CNC project later this fall (portable "backpack" 4 axis)

  • What Steppers and controller are being used?

  • I like the idea of using two screws/motors for the y axis. Frees up some room and adds stability to get the x axis fro getting crooked.

  • weird music but funny machine^^

  • Very nice woodworking skills you've got! looks really nice!

  • Cool- Thanks for sharing.
