  • Damn I need to get some of these...

I´ve always loved running at the speed of light!

  • what?? is that the poweriser origin at 0:50 min.?

  • ich hab die dinger auch :) nur das meine besser sind :)

  • *I envision myself running in the middle of nowhere at super fast speeds*

    yeah ... *squeeka**squeeka**squeeka**squeeka**squeeka**squeeka**squeeka**squeeka**squeeka**squeeka**squeeka**squeeka**squeeka**squeeka**squeeka**squeeka**squeeka*

these things would be great if they didn't sound like a mating squirrel duck ...... wtf ?

  • seriously. what is this i don't even

  • I wanted some until I heard this guy talking. What a tool.

  • how much did they cost?

  • 130-200 pounds which is about 400-500 dollars

most expesive ones are Powerskips those are Austrian they cost 2000 Dollars but they have awesome springs

  • yes, but only to an extent, after a while, the spring will start to wear out and you'll need to replace it.

Dont ask me why your comment was marked as spam, it's a perfectly viable question :P

  • Running at super-fast speeds, that's the most awesome idea.

  • I think the noise was edited in, no idea why though. They make some serious noise, but it's clacking and banging when the hoof hits the ground, not squeaking.

Crazy fun, guys. These are seriously the coolest things I have ever seen or owned.

  • OMFG they make SUCH a bad noise!

    mine are pretty much silent!

  • lmao...those were seagulls! haha...those weren't the stilts...wierdos

  • yours make the most god aweful noise ever

  • haha omg eh? get some wd 40

  • "Animals are better engineered than us"

Can't quite let that go, sorry. Humans and other animals are engineered about equally well, just humans are not engineered for agility. In a footrace, we lose. But in a race to make a stack of boxes, few other animals can do it, and none as fast as us. Our bodies are built to lift, turn, and manipulate things, fully using our huge brains. In fact, we're so good that we can build prosthetics to convert our moving power back into speed.

    I love my Powerisers.

  • @IMPERATORTIBERIVS I agree with what your saying except that when you listen to what he said in terms of animals being engineered better than us he was referring to the fact that they are better runner and jumpers than us.

  • thats strange this video won't play anymore

  • the chinese ones are spelled "powerizer"

and the korean ones are spelled "poweriser"

  • I love this invention.

  • poweriser it's best!!!!

  • poweriser it's best!!!!

  • it's "Poweriser" don't "Powerizer"!!!

  • Ignore the haters

i've just learned how to walk on poweriser stilts and i've never have experienced something so advanced and so fun. This definelty is the future. I've heard they have only been around for a couple years. Me and my brother are going to be the first people in lincoln NE to be jumping around everywhere.

  • I'm the first female in Northern Ireland to have a pair of bocks :P

I agree- ignore the haters, everyones bugging me about how to spell things, the americans spell things differently too :L

    Awh wells

  • Go Northern Ireland! I love powerisers.

  • Lmao.... Whoo!!! At least I think i'm the first female in Northern Ireland to have them :S

I've broke my powerisers :'( *cries* they break easily people....

  • fix them then :P get new bits

  • u look like a fool to me.. not running super fast, not jumping high... lame...

  • I would buy some of these but I would just kill myself trying to do things.

  • this guy is the biggest geek

  • they where actualy a mimic of a brizialian athlite (sprint runner) with stumps for legs but idk how he got into them but this guy was in the special/disabled olympics... from this guys artificial legs the powerizers idea was fourmed

  • Great video, I'm really wanting a pair of these. They look amazing.

  • from 00:29-00:33, it sounds like humping on a bed.

I have the powerizers pro. They don't

     make that squeeky noise though.

  • Stop searching you've harnessed the power of the goose with every honk, I mean step. WD 40, Crisco, put a big mac in there, something. Small price to pay for having any woman you want.

  • wow thats guys such a fag

  • you need to oil those things

  • nice video, but yeah, I hope mine don't make that noise.

  • Great video !!! To all of you who are interested in purchasing a original European pair you can e-mail me at igomacs(at)yahoo(dot)com

  • yes you can run up to twenty miles an hour

  • so..?

  • i got the 2007 model of powerisers and it owns

doesnt take much time to learn either

but u have to get used to having those things on ur legs

  • do you run any faster than you normally would if you got those?

  • So do your powerizers need some lubrication or something? They seem to squeek a lot.

  • very nice intro to stilts. would make a great comercial to get people interested! keep up the sport! hopefully it will catch on! (have had jumping stilts since may 07). P.S. visit poweriserpages (dot) com if you havent already. great forums and helpfull peeps for faq's. :)

  • dude stop hugin trees flamer just run like a real man.....

  • lol nice vid but whats wit the squeaky noise lol

  • keep practicing...

  • kept me interested the whole way through, i like to heard what people have to say, awesome vid.

  • a bit boring, if u want better interesting vids, check out my powerizer vids

  • I appreciate this video alot more than all the Germans and Koreans bouncing all over to cheap pop music. This is why I bought my set - it's nice to have someone else explicate it.

  • Good video! What's up with all the commentary though?

  • dude im so going to get those, but im not sure about flips. i can do em on a trampoline but the extra weight on my legs might slow me down.

  • Thanks for posting the video, very helpful! I'm curious do they hurt your legs or knees in any way?

    Thanks,

  • who are you... lol

  • I can sell you guys a cheap powerskip.U can inquire me @ bautista_kenn@yahoo.com.. thnx

  • they look so cool, im buying a pair in a few weeks, I'll let you know when I break something hehehe

  • were can i get a cheap pair of these?

  • ebay they are like £160-£180

  • Sould like you could use some WD40 or Silicon lubricant, I recently fell from my pair whilst running at about 16mph and managaed to smash myself up, but I also attract lot of attention bounding down the street.

Also, as said above, tire socks are a good idea.

  • Nice video. I also own a couple of pairs of these. I have a couple of pieces of advice for you. First, you can lube the bushings to get rid of that loud "honking" noise. I use bike chain lube but you can use WD-40. Second, to make the footpads last longer you should protect them with tread from mountain bike tires. You can find other tips on <www.poweriserpages.com> or <www.powerbockresources.com>. Happy bouncing!

  • Most people are really positive and wanting to know where they can get a pair. Men and woman, old and young alike

  • Great video, i recently purchased a pair of these and i use them all the time. I have had very similar reactions to yourself,'can you run?' can you jump really high?' 'can you do a backflip?' Peoples interest in them is amazing...there are now 3 pairs of these in my house, what with my landlady being a professional stilt walker. I often take all 3 pairs down the park and get random people in the park to have a go.i love it.
